Pleasant place to hang. enjoyed friends, employees, other patrons.

One or two lunches, two or three dinners, all very good and I did not feel any were over priced. Got to know chef Oscar and the two waiters and always had a pleasurable experience. Will return in March with my wife after we move to Ajijic. Oscar is also holding some artwork I purchased in... read more

Nice spot with usually excellent menu/food and flamenco dancing (for a cover) on Sat night. Would have rated as excellent but have had the odd "off" meal there when normal chef was off duty.

Fabulous food. Terrible decor. Looked like a cement parking lot. They need plants all around to make it look warm and inviting.

OK, it was a miserable rainy, cold day, so I called ahead if there is enclosed area: "No, but all canvas-covered and we have heater". Well, mostly covered, so you don't get wet (if you don't sit at the leaks), but drafty. The heater: gas ran out, didn't work. The untreated, rough concrete surround wouldn't suggest a "Jardin" atmosphere. The... More

A friend suggested we try here. There were five of us and we each ordered something different. The menu was varied with "different" foods such as Filet Mignon in chocolate sauce, pork chops in Bourbon and so on . Very little there for someone who cannot eat haute gourmet stuff because of digestive problems. They do not have bottles of... More

Simply average. Black bean soup was very thin, but tasty.

It's a very pretty setting and has live flamenco music and dancer on certain nights which was terrific to watch and not too obtrusive to eat dinner by. Food was good though not fantastic. The Chef/owner likes to come and visit each table and chat which is a lovely compliment.

The chef studied with the chef at Casa Tomas in Guadalajara who was recommended by a fellow restauranteur in Seattle. Great late night snack, with free herbal drinks
