The breakfast spot

If you're passing through town and need a breakfast, this is the spot. For breakfast, you're roughly limited to three places in town, all offering standard fair, BUT the Crossroads Grill, adjacent to the Tempo gas station is the tops for service, and has a few added touches to each piece on the... read more

We stop in here for supper on a Sunday evening at 530pm. The roast beef supper was advertised as very good. We both had this meal?? I also was going to have soup. There was 3 choices of self serve. There was not enough soup in any containers to make a bowl. The roast beef came cool on the plate.... More

This restaurant is wonderfully spotlessly clean! There is a pretty big menu to chose from. The veal cutlets we ordered were very good and arrived quickly, hot and tasty! There was two kinds of homemade soup ( self serve), which were both great! You can even get "home fries"! The waitress was friendly & very attentive! Servings were huge! Excellent... More

Home fries & Fish. Celery soup. $11 a plate. In a friendly atmosphere. Don't drive by without checking this watering hole out. Good value, good food.

I was there for breakfast recently. It took a little long for the waitress to take our order considering there were only 3 other tables. Coffee was refilled but not regularly nor fast. Omelette breakfast was good however the toast was cold when it was brought out which is annoying because it obviously was not busy and made too far... More

The best prices and portions I've seen in awhile in a restaurant. The biggest and best clubhouse with homecut fries.

Today we had our lunch there and it was great, the homemade potatoesoup was great (selfservice by the way!). The burger was huge, with a homemade paddy and homemade fries as well. And also the apple crunch desert was excellent. The waitresses where very friendly, stopped often and always had fresh coffee. And the menu did not cost us a... More

Terrible service. Ignored me. Didn't bring my soup. Dropped off my entree, then never returned. It was like my section was closed. I read a paper, then gave up and went to the till to pay. Instead, go to the Venice restaurant in the Extra Foods plaza. Good service, great food. Family run.
