Expect the unexpected at this unassuming auberge. Don't be fooled by the rugged exterior. The chef, owner and staff got it all together and deliver a top notch performance. Food selection and execution of recipes are extraordinary. Be prepared for a solid foodie experience. Very creative use of local resources. We dined there two nights in a row. The first... More

I was there with my family for dinner last Friday. Although we were amongst the firsts to be seated, we were installed in the addition situated far from their nice dining room with questionable chairs. Perhaps because of my 2 girls, age 9 and 12? The waitress told us that there weren't any kids menus on Friday and briskly asked... More

Stay at the inn about 6 times now, never even considered looking into any other options. Great B&B packages avail, great food, comfortable surroundings.

OMG...the pork chops here were to die for. The appetizers delicious. The wine affordable and excellent. The waitress (attends school in Montreal with dark straight hair) was one of the most charming, polite and friendly waitresses we've had to date...truly spectatular dining. Oh, of course, the atmosphere was very unique and cozy. We had some wine at the bar before... More

The highpoint of our trip to Sutton was a delicious meal at the Auberge des Appalaches. I had an interesting and delicious fish dish--Cod with basil infused potatoes, lobster and vegetables. My husband had a steak and fries that he said was incredible. The room is very cozy and comfortable, and the service was friendly, but not intrusive. The owner... More

Ate dinner here twice this month and had delicious, inventive food both times. Lots of locally sourced interesting ingredients. Service unfailingly friendly; superb when owner Patricia is handling it herself. Would definitely go back any time I am in the eastern townships.

Stayed at this Auberge for three nights while cycling with friends. Dinner included on one night was the best meal we had in 3 days in Quebec. Service was friendly and impeccably timed. Food was interesting but not the point of distraction. All four dishes were well prepared and delicious. I would highly recommend a visit to this charming auberge.
