This is a cozy bistro like atmosphere with an easy attitude for its patrons. Bring your paper, laptop, friends or just yourself to settle in for a while with a great bowl of cafe au lait. I enjoyed my omelette. It seems like a happy place with locals and morning cyclists dropping in. I like to stop here when in... More

When you order a large café au lait at this restaurant, it comes in a BOWL. It is one of the best coffees that I've ever had, and I am a coffee snob. My friends and I stop here every summer for their coffee, and we still dream about it. The sandwiches are also pretty good (nothing to rave about),... More

In the world of service professionals, there is service, Service and SERVICE. Le Cafetier and specifically its server, Eliane, (forgive me if I’ve gotten it wrong; I’m an Anglophone) is clearly in the third category. My wife and I stopped off for lunch. As anyone who has read the reviews in Trip Advisor already know, the food was excellent as... More

.....and open early. plus the terrace is right on main street and if you like people viewing over the rim of your coffee cup, this is the place to be. Free WiFi....lot's of locals (must be good then).

This is just the place to get a real french bistro coffee(served in a bowl) and light meal! Always filled with locals! One of my favorite stops!

We shared lunch and several coffee breaks in this adorable little restaurant. The food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would make this a must see place in the Sutton area.

This café comes recommended by the compilers of the Eastern Townships 2013-2014 Guidebook. My guest and I drove all the way to Sutton just to try it. I was not impressed and couldn't wait to leave. It was cramped and noisy. The smoked salmon and goat cheese omelette tasted like the bland and disappointing concoctions I usually slap together at... More

Sutton is close to my heart at any time and I am there once or if I'm lucky twice a year. It is clear that this spot is quite the hub for writers, artists, and anyone who would like a cozy spot to have some steaming coffee and perhaps a bite to eat. The food is homemade- and healthy. It... More

My husband and I had lunch here and wow what a delightful surprise! My husband had the grilled cheese and I had the veggie burger. Both were really really good! If you're in Sutton, this place is a MUST.

Living just south of the US-Canadian border in Vermont, we frequently head north to enjoy French-inspired Quebecois cuisine. Le Cafetier is one of our regular stops for brunch. The menu is quite large and varied, the assortment of dishes quite impressive, and the food itself fresh, well-prepared and a bit different from what we are used to in the US.... More
