We enjoyed a fantastic evening meal here recently and felt compelled to recommend the restaurant to anyone staying in the Sutton area. The food is good if you like it raw; most of the menu is carpaccio, tartar, ceviche, etc... We went around 8:00-8:30 pm and the service was very long. I do have to say that what I ate was quite good.

We were in Sutton for a week and had the pleasure of eating two dinners here and a breakfast outside on the terrace. The meals were wonderful and the servers offered great wine recommendations. The new chef, Nickolas, is amazing and we hear there are changes planned in the upcoming months to make the menu even better. Good luck to... More

We stayed overnight at the Hotel and had dinner and breakfast here. Both were excellent. For dinner we both had the magret du canard, and shared two entrées, the escargots and a beet salad. Everything was well-prepared, the ingredients were high-quality, the portions were ample. The room is beautiful, and our hostess was charming. The small wine list had a... More

Mr Robert M, Thanks for taking the time to share your comments about your experience at our restaurant. Athough our menu was changing at least twice a year, we understand that from a local perspective, it seemed like it was always fixed. We took your comments in consideration and since June 4th, we now have a menu with items changing... More

Bravo Bertin and Michel for your efforts over the years to make Le Pleasant THE place in Sutton and around. Under Chef Dany Savage the dinning room has now found its true vocation. Impeccable service, unique atmosphere mixing old and new style of interior decoration, imaginative menu perfectly delivered. Keep the good work.

Everyone was friendly and eager to please; gorgeous hotel with spotless beautiful rooms. It's a small hotel and I like that. Centrally located in the center of Sutton. Dining there was wonderful. If you like the big hotel feel this is not for you. However if you like individual attention given in a small hotel, you'll love this place!

We stayed at the hotel two weekends a month apart for ski getaways. We arrived late on Friday both nights but the restaurant was still open so we had two fine à la carte meals those nights - ravioli, scallops (no sand!), steak and duck, all impeccably prepared and full of excellent flavours. All four days we had the Eggs... More
