We spent two nights here during the first week of October in perfect weather and fall foliage. The food at the Gites was exceptional, particularly because of it's relatively isolated location. Try the creme brûlée, which changes slightly every night.

We stayed in this gite for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff at reception was very helpful and room was big and clean, however it lacked charme. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We loved dinner as it was delicious. We had the three course dinner including soup, main and desert. Unfortunately, breakfast... More

This is a steady upward climb of 2500 ft that took us ~4 hrs on a warm but otherwise perfect day. The view from the top is West to the Chic Chocs, out to the St. Lawrence and East to Mont Jacques Cartier. There is an alternate return which we missed because we didn't have a map.

Great tasty food and well presented with friendly service. The service is provided by well trained staff who. Are watchful yet discreet. The fish, the meats and desserts were all outstanding.

Superb a gastronomic delight. We were 2 couples and had 4 different appetizers entrees and deserts and all were superb. The restaurant is worth a detour.

My three sons and I stayed here 10 years ago. At that time, the food was absolutely outstanding. I returned here this summer, and was only able to eat lunch, as we were not staying here. There have been some renovations...nice ones. We had just completed a hike in the Chic Chocs, and stopped here for lunch. The only food... More

After 10 days of travel in an RV we felt like having a nice lunch with our two small kids and stopped at the Gite du Mont-Albert on our way back to Montreal. And we were surprised by the nice atmosphere and the really good food we were served at the Gite. The dining room is a kept in traditional... More

Menu is interesting but very few tables have a view of the mountains. In fact, only a handfull. They will not accept to reserve one of these tables either. It is a big dining room but service is courteous. Did not like the breakfast as they favor buffet style and the buffet food was not that great.
