Magnifique!

I had the croissant and the lemon pastry. My friends had the baguettes. We bought some cheese and sat in the little park across the street for a picnic. Even though the croissant was not the best I've ever had, it still ranks very high. The lemon pastry was excellent. It reminded me of the... read more

Minimale choices but when you finally do get served, the girls are very nice. They run out of stock rapidly so go early in the morning.

We were attracted by the menu posted outside and the carved wooden sign of this establishment. The small restaurant is very cosy decorated with owls of all shapes. Service was friendly & efficient ( unlike some reviews state). The gazpacho delicious and the sandwiches even more so. We were very happy with our meal & plan to come back to... More

Always stop in here when I pass through Mansonville. The almond croissant and an americano - yum! Decor is homey and the place is spotless. Worth a visit.

Great Place for croissant, they are made only with top quality ingredients. Also great take out food made by the Chef who graduated from a top school in Europe.

We stopped for tea and pastries on the drive from Magog to Vermont. The shop has a fine selection of local cheeses and jams for sale. It has a well-deserved reputation for breads and pastries. Visit for the food, not the decor.

Mansonville, Quebec, sits within minutes of Owl's Head mountain and ski resort. Owl's Bread, besides being a clever moniker, is one of the hidden treasures in the mountain's shadow. Fresh croissants always draw my attention, chocolate-laden brownies usually come home with me to Ontario, and the specialty display case is resplendent with duck-liver mousse, other patés and Quebec cheeses. The... More

The bread sells out by noon typically, so get there early! If out, you can always order a sandwich, which is also delectable and (of course) made with some of the baguettes that have been set back for that purpose. Bon apetit!

Overall they have a good selection of sandwiches, home made breads, pastries to go as well as a sit down menu that is more comprehensive. Staff are helpful and speak fluent English and French. Great place to visit to grab some lunch before hitting the slopes. Be sure to get there early before all the bread is sold out for... More
