Best place for croissant

Great Place for croissant, they are made only with top quality ingredients. Also great take out food made by the Chef who graduated from a top school in Europe.

Always stop in here when I pass through Mansonville. The almond croissant and an americano - yum! Decor is homey and the place is spotless. Worth a visit.

We stopped for tea and pastries on the drive from Magog to Vermont. The shop has a fine selection of local cheeses and jams for sale. It has a well-deserved reputation for breads and pastries. Visit for the food, not the decor.

Mansonville, Quebec, sits within minutes of Owl's Head mountain and ski resort. Owl's Bread, besides being a clever moniker, is one of the hidden treasures in the mountain's shadow. Fresh croissants always draw my attention, chocolate-laden brownies usually come home with me to Ontario, and the specialty display case is resplendent with duck-liver mousse, other patés and Quebec cheeses. The bread sells out by noon typically, so get there early! If out, you can always order a sandwich, which is also delectable and (of course) made with some of the baguettes that have been set back for that purpose. Bon apetit!

Overall they have a good selection of sandwiches, home made breads, pastries to go as well as a sit down menu that is more comprehensive. Staff are helpful and speak fluent English and French. Great place to visit to grab some lunch before hitting the slopes. Be sure to get there early before all the bread is sold out for... More

We are from Vermont, almost 1 1/2 hours from Mansonville. We go to Owls Bread regularly. The food bread ambiance and staff suit our tastes perfectly. Sometimes it takes a little time. The wait is no problem. We always leave with bread and pate et fromage. When we travel to,Montreal, we always go so we can stop. It is longer... More

... yes when it rains it pours so when Owls Bread is busy time to move on or be patient. But I assure you your patience will be justified and emulsified. The busy issue is probably "I" out at the counter asking for that Chocolate Croissant, the Salmon Mouse or what about the Pork Roulette, add some Quebec artesian cheese... More

Delicious food, friendly staff, amazing baked goods. It was exactly what we needed after spending the morning driving through the Eastern Townships. It's a place that is frequented by locals and travellers alike.
