I'd like to start by clarifying that there are 3 restaurants in Manoir Richelieu: the Bellerive which is a buffet, the Saint Laurent which is the main restaurant, and Le Charlevoix - a very high end restaurant, the most expensive of the three. On TA they are all under 'Manoir Richelieu' which is not fait because they are all very... More

food was good ....BUT the price wasn't. I usually don't mind paying for a good meal... but around 35$ for a breakfast, is quite steep. Some improvements might be needed to an aging restaurant. A revamp of the menu, wouldn't hurt either.

While staying in Quebec City we took a day trip along the St. Lawrence and, on the recommendation of a friend, stopped at the hotel for lunch. The setting is certainly stunning, situated high above the river. The food however was disappointing. We tried the fish and chips and the cheese pizza. The portions were certainly more than adequate, but... More

As many people have mentioned, this restaurant needs some improvements. I had a charcuterie plate which wasn't bad but the wife had a soup to start on par with the buffet downstairs. It got worse. The braised short ribs were dry and cold. The risotto was simply awful. Wait staff were indifferent. Save your money and eat in the village.

The food was great, the ambiance and the service were just what we needed to celebrate our anniversary.

We had breakfast included with our room, and it was the buffet at Bellerive. On Sundays the main hotel restaurant, Le St Laurent, has a special brunch, but it is not included with the B&B plans. The Bellerive buffet has a lot to offer, including an eggs station, smoked salmon, some cold cuts, just one type of cheese (a boring... More

What a terrible disappointment! We were staying at another hotel and decided to stop here for lunch. We went for the salad bar and soup and a cheese plate. The food was horrible. Salad bar was worse than a hospital cafeteria. The cheese plate was stale, service very very slow and the restaurant buzzing with flies. Go into the village... More

We go to the Charlevoix region about once a year and we either stay at the Manoir Richelieu or, at the very least, dine there. This review is about Le Charlevoix dining-room, but I want to comment on the other two as well.Their basic, breakfast and buffet restaurant (Belle Rive) offers rather mediocre food at high cost. I do not... More

This review is for the Le Saint-Laurent restaurant in the Fairmont Richelieu. The title says it all, it was mediocre overpriced hotel food in a decent setting but definitely not worth it. I ordered the onion soup to start which was probably something they scooped from the buffet downstairs at the Bellerive with a single cold dollop of goat cheese... More

A bit more of a French brasserie experience, it was about half the price of the menu at the Manoir's Charlevoix Restaurant, but the quality was not diminished AT ALL! We dined there twice during our four-night stay and the staff provided us with EXCELLENT recommendations. BTW, wine geeks should ask for the wine list from the Charlevoix (the one... More
