This restaurant is special. The chefs are husband and wife. Their menu allows the diner to choose 3 tasting dishes out of a selection of about 14 or so. The portions are of medium size and three such portions per person are quite sufficient. I won't spoil the surprises, but I can't gush enough over this place. Outstanding! It is... More

I have always enjoyed the food this region can offer. I went to Les 3 Canards, le Manoir Richelieu and other big names in Charlevoix. A colleague of mine talked to me about Vices Versa. This one is different: 2 Chefs offering their own version of a specific meal. What a good idea! Choose one, have your partner choose the... More

My husband and I enjoy good food and wine. As I researched the area, I thought we should indulge ourselves with this highly recommended restaurant. The concept of Vice-Versa was unusual, yet appealing. Two superb chefs (husband and wife team) will prepare the same type of main course but in a different way. We each chose three main courses from... More

Desserts were a stand out: creme brûlée, chocolates, and Apple dessert. Waitress wonderful. However appetizers and main courses mediocre and very expensive meal.

We had a delicious dinner, with selections from both vice and versa. What a great concept, both fun and exquisitely prepared. The wine selections were great. We would return here, for a special occasion, as it is quite expensive. Highly recommend.

What a great find this restaurant was. Wonderful ambience and excellent attentive service. The menu is split in two. The husband and wife chef team present you with the Vice (cooked by him) or Versa (cooked by her) to choose from or you can combo up some from her some from him. The friends we were with all chose different... More

I do not normally write restaurant reviews, but we had such a great time and meal here that I felt I owed it to the chefs. This is a unique experience, as the husband/ wife are both excellent chefs who basically compete for your business each night by creating a menu of choices from each chef. You can mix and... More

Simply one of the best restaurants in the province of Québec, and certainly east of Québec city. We are stunned by the experience. Family-run business - they care about your experience. Menu: Original concept. In the table d'hôte, the two Chefs each offer a selection of five / six meals using the same ingredients but prepared differently based on their... More

Comparing the husband/wife chef selections on the table de Hote was fun and really creative. Scollops were wondersul as was the veal and duck. Easy to find and only 7-8 minutes from the Fairmont. elegant old home, warm servie and a reasonable wine list made for a memeorable evening

Over the past year I've celebrated a significant birthday and as a real lover of food, I've eaten in some great restaurants (Momfuku-Shoto, Langdon Hall, Tabenkobel to name a few) and I must state that this lovely restaurant in La Malbaie rivaled them all. The concept was as creative as any other place I've been to with the two chefs... More
