Friendly staff, good food, fair prices

After being refused service at 21 Breakwater, we were happy to be seated at a nice table for two overlooking the harbour. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food arrived in a timely fashion, but we did not feel rushed at all. The food was good, plenty and fairly priced. We... read more

Hubby and I stopped here for dinner before our scheduled sunset cruise. So glad we left plenty of time because although the server was friendly, service was glacial. I ordered the scallops 3 way and Hubby had the chick parm melt. We both upgraded our sides and boy was that not worth it. Food was decent but not special and... More

We stopped in for lunch. We ordered the "scallops three ways" and the clam strip platter. The coleslaw is from a bag. And the tartar sauce is advertised as homemade. The tartar sauce came in a Kraft package. I questioned it and she told me she could bring some out for us. Meal was expensive for the amount we got.... More

There is an extensive menu, so it's good if you need to please a lot of people. However, the seafood was not great, mostly overcooked. Staff was friendly and it is a nice oceanside location. The best thing was the potato salad, very tasty!

Simple place with a large menu, great view out the windows and very nice staff. My wife had the lobster roll and I had the scallop stuffed salmon which was drizzled with a nice balsamic sauce. We both had the soup of the day (garden tomato and herbs) which was delicious. Portions were really nice too.

First of all the food is good, and I don't think that I have been disappointed when I have ever had food here. If you are in the area, and you see it open, it is definitely worth considering. Now, the but ... The hours to this place are very strange. On my recent visit, I was puzzled how it... More

Sunday at the Sheltered Harbour was beyond. The Hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict was one of the best I've eaten in years. All four of us liked our food. Eggs were cooked the way we wanted them and that's with all four asking for different ways to have our eggs. There was definitely enough food on our plates. Even... More

My sisters and brother and I went to the sheltered Harbour to have a family dinner. When we got there we were quickly seated . 30 minutes later still no service. There was only 1 waitress. When finally took the order my sister asked if she could have a coffee and was told she would get her coffee when the... More

We were touring in the area and just needed a place to stop for lunch, and a local person we met recommended it. That's usually a good sign right there. This is often used by people taking the ferry to / from Souris, so it can get busy prior to or just after a crossing we found. Service was really... More

This is a place with a large capacity given the location at the ferry terminal to St. Pierre et Miquelon. Summertime would be wonderful on the deck, overlooking the water! This place isn't fancy but it has everything and everything is good. The chowder was lovely and just the right texture. The day was cold and blustery so it hit... More
