Got take-out pizza and garlic fingers. Delicious homemade dough, great toppings. Cooked perfectly. It's one of the few local spots that's open year-round and deserves to be.

This is a great family style restaurant, the locals frequent this eatery. The fish and chips were great. We went there for breakfast and had a great hearty breakfast.

Basic, no-frills seafood, but prepared well. Good price, casual atmosphere. Good for family, friends, couples or dining on your own.

In an area that caters to a lot of tourists where restaurants that aren't open all the time can change staff from year to year, thus some years they are good ,sometimes not so much, Bye The Bay is open year round and tends to be more consistent . The food is delicious from their home made rolls, seafood, wraps, soups, sandwiches etc. While... More

We headed out our Charlottetown as nothing seemed to be open for breakfast early Sunday morning and ended up in Rustico. Food was good, service was good price was fair. It is more a place for locals but it fit the bill.

The restaurant was pretty nice and workers there were as well. The food was delish and I thought it was cool that the pop came in a 2l bottle. (was only 30 cents more the the 591ml they had. The only prob we had was they over charged us a lil on the pop but when hubby noticed and told... More

Stopped here and had the fish and chips. Absolutely the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was comfortably casual.

Stopped in this quaint town on PEI when looking for a meal. We were just out of season and the majority of restaurants were closed. Luckily, By the Bay was open as we were hungry. The place was packed and we were able to grab a table as its occupants left. The service was slow. The fish and chips were... More

We came in, according to the locals well before tourist season. By the Bay was a recommendation by locals since it was supposed to be the best that was opened. We had the fish and chips, and the lobster burger. The fish and chips was nice, a nice big serving. The lobster sandwich was amazing. Definitely try it out.
