This seasonal restaurant and art gallery came highly recommended to us. We had not been to PEI for 36 years. Although the wait for a table in The Dunes was surprisingly long for mid-afternoon, it was worth the wait. The day was lovely; the views were spectacular; and the art work for sale was varied and attractively displayed(we indeed bought... More

I LOVE The Dunes, I've been here many, many times and am never disappointed. The gallery is great, there are tons of handmade items, both local and from afar. If you would like something to take home with you from your visit to PEI, this is the place, your only problem will be to choose from so many interesting things.... More

The food here was good. There is not a lot of choices, but what they have is excellent. What made this visit memorable were the gorgeous gardens surrounding the restaurant, as well as all the beautiful pieces of art on display. The staff were very kind to our boys and made our visit extra special.

Had heard good reviews of both the restaurant and shop onsite from friends back home. We almost always camp while on PEI as there's a beautiful little campsite nearby that we prefer over a hotel or cabin. Because of this, we were looking a little camper-like when we went in to shop around. My recommendation if you must go- dress... More

We had one of our best meals ever at this establishment. The wait staff was knowledgeable and efficient. The gallery is first-rate; if you're looking for something to take home from PEI, you'll find it there.

This was my second visit to the gallery in as many visits to PEI. I wish I had a meal the first time around, as this time the culinary experience overshadowed the art gallery itself (and btw, the gallery is rather wonderful). I shared seafood chowder as an appetiser with my boyfriend as this dish is a meal in itself.... More

The food was very good, we ended up being waited on by about 3 different people, odd. But the food was very good, we enjoyed wandering around looking at the pottery & glass works, but they should get rid of all the Asian knock offs, it spoils the rest of it.

We enjoyed going in and taking a look around. They have quite a range of artwork and the staff member we interacted with had a good working knowledge. We would have like to been there when the artists were working but were too early. Loved the gardens.

We spent 4 weeks in P.E.I. every summer at an inn within walking distance of the Dunes. We love to go there and look at the beautiful gardens and browse around the store looking at all the "different" furniture, paintings, jewelry, kitchen gadgets, etc. that they have. The furniture and paintings are very pricey. The other items are not too... More

A must stop for lunch if you are in the area! Once a year, I am in this area and I always stop here. Everything is good!
