The food was awesome....the roast beef was the most delicious I have ever tasted...even better than the KEG, can you believe it! Not as pricey but soooooo goooood! We loved the idea of passing the food around at our table and you took what you wanted and as much as you wanted. The desserts were also very delicious! They also... More

Years ago this use to be a good place to get a wonderful home cooked meal. Recently my family was on outing in St. Jacob and decided to eat here, remembering wonderful meals we use to get here. It was, to say the least, worse ever . Unfit for human consumption. Tasteless, overlooked slop. Our daughter had two bites and that... More

Words are failing to describe just how terrible this restaurant is, but this should give you a good idea; I left their buffet hungry. As in, upon leaving the "all you can eat" buffet, I went home and made myself some lunch. This is NOT supposed to happen! There were very few options. The food was cold or lukewarm at... More

This must be the worst buffet I have had in years. It's dull and tasteless. It looks more like one of those $7.99 All you can Eat buffets that one can find across the US. The dishes weren't labelled so we didn't know what we were eating. The chef probably never heard about seasoning food which is why everyone in... More

We had a Reunion banquet at this restaurant. Had two choices of meats, variety of salads so food was good. White and Red wines were good. Musician with keyboard supplied music throughout the meal, mixture of tunes and not loud, so you could carry on a conversation. We enjoyed it.

The Stone Crock Restaurant is an established fixture in St. Jacobs. It can be a pleasant dining experience, but it wasn't this time. Nothing terrible, but certainly it could be better. The haddock and wedges (fries) was fairly good, if maybe a little over-priced at $14.95 for an average piece of haddock. But the Shepherd's pie was a bit of... More

On Sunday, Sept.28, a large group of went here to celebrate a birthday. We all had the buffet at about 6pm. so we were hungry and eager to enjoy our supper. I read previous reviews and all of them were dead on. Mash potatoes were thick and sticky, the gravy had a thick scum over top, the vegetables were out... More

The food was excellent the service was excellent. The staff bent over backwards to make our banquet a success and it... More

It's been many years since I have been here. We went and had the buffet on Friday evening. Cost was approximately $21 per person. I was impressed with the salad bar and the soup. Both were fresh and tasty. The hot food and dessert were disappointing. There was a decent selection but the food was average at best. The meat... More

My friends and I had the buffet for $14.79 and found that it was not worth the money. We found the selection not only poor but the quality is not great and you have to pay extra for dessert. Maybe if you order from the menue the food is better, if we do go back it will not be for... More
