Fresh home made, wholesome, meals, with wonderful flavour. Service is pleasant and cheerful, with a side of dry humour. Very generous portions at a reasonable cost. This quant little old building has a lot of character and charm and the roof top patio is delightful. Not your typical burger joint a definite must try if you are in Southampton>

We are regulars at Armen's and enjoy the meals there every time. The facility is not fancy but definitely eclectic. Due to the small staff there is a limited set menu, but it is all excellent! We have typically found the people who think the staff are rude come in at busy times then push for special orders that are... More

Best Restaurant in Southampton! As the name suggests, it’s a café, so don’t come expecting a 5 star dining experience. What makes the place unique is the healthy and delicious menu choices, quirky building and decoration, and the restaurant staff. You should avoid this place if you: 1- Don’t have the patience to wait in a line up for few... More

Rudest restaurant experience ever...not once twice...the food might be good so I have heard but who needs the owners attitude. Funny when I tell people who set local they all agree and laugh like this is normal......no need ....

I have to disagree with some previous reviewers. I love the ambiance at Armen's. It suits the casual, open and friendly interchange that so frequently goes on between chef, servers and visitors, and makes it a wonderful place to be. The food is so tasty, and so interesting. A REAL Spanish omelette, as you would get in Spain, because that's... More

We enjoyed the breakfast at Armens - food was fresh and plentiful, tasty and well-priced. Service was friendly and accomodating.

Armen's is going downhill fast unfortunately. The lovely waitress Heather is no longer there, nothing has been done to improve the ambience (it is beyond tatty) and the prices continue to rise ....now a beverage is no longer included. Its becoming quite expensive and comparable with local restaurants such as Woodpecker and Rosinis, who for the same price, offer a... More

Great place for an informal lunch. I am a gluten free vegetarian and am always able to find something on the menu!

It's great that Armen's Cafe is now open for the season! You must look past imperfections of interior design...you are there for the food not five star ambiance! And truly not just the food the atmosphere is that of a classic "Local" eatery. I recommend this cafe to anyone who has a sense of humour and enjoys lunch without ketchup!

Armens is open again for the season. I had a wonderful lunch with friends and was reminded how amazing the food was. I spent just as much time laughing as eating, what a great place to enjoy a meal. The familiar faces made meal feel at home and the entertainment from the wait staff really made my day. You have... More
