Decided to eat lunch at this quaint place. Nice atmosphere, tons of freshly baked pastries, cakes, cookies & more. Decent cup of coffee too, if you Tim Hortoned out. Lunch was simple, home made & delicious. Would recommend & will defiantly go back.

Guy behind the counter, assume he was the owner got upset because our kids were all talking at the same time and told us to all be quiet, he seemed frazzled with with more then 2 people in line. Milk shakes were ok though, I'll give my $25 next time to someone who appreciates the business

We stopped by for an afternoon snack. What a fabulous place. The dessert showcase features over a dozen different cakes, pies, and their signature crazy cookies. The staff are very helpful and patient since it takes a bit of time to choose. The portions are generous and very fresh. Dreamers understands that to serve a good cup of tea, it... More

Accidently stumbled upon this fantastic small cafe serving excellent fresh food and declious deserts. Owner and server are friendly and attentive to dietary requirements. One of our party had a ceasar lobster salad which had to be specially created due to a lactose problem. It was reported as delicious and showed the versatility of the staff in meeting their customers'... More

Just pop in for the cookies, they are baked fresh and fly off the cookie sheets into the hands of customers. Rich, chocolatey, soft, with just enough runny caramel in the middle. How could you not stop in and have one? Just $2...we bought 4!

We stopped in at the Dreamers Café in April 2014 for lunch. It is on the corner of the quaint main street. The owners are super friendly and the food was fresh and delicious! We had home made Quiche and Sheppard’s pie, both served with Caesar Salad. The coffee and Cappuccino was good and the crazy cookie is fabulous! It... More

I dropped into Dreamers last May while in Port Hope because of all the great cookie reviews. I walked in and right out again twice because the café did seem quite grubby. A couple of hours later I could no longer resist the urge for that cookie. I had my cookie and coffee and must admit it was a fantastic... More

We stopped to check out this lovely downtown. Stopped by Dreamers Cafe, decided on coffee and some delicious dessert! There is a large write up on each table about the origins of the soft cookie with a thumb print filled with caramel and drizzled in chocolate! Pans and pans of these huge sellers! Wonderful atmosphere, and great selection! A nice... More

I am not sure what the hype is about. This is a place that seems to have built a reputation on a single cookie. It's a good cookie - no doubt, but it takes more than a cookie to make a business. Service can be somewhat cold, the cake's are overpriced and the slice portions are tiny and the entire... More
