Well I've been to the cobourg wimpys couple times and was not overly impressed. But wanted to try the port hope one. 6 of us went for breakfast on Sunday after church and it was packed. Waited 20 min and sat down. Food came hot and quick. Had a great breakfast and will be back. The 3 servers were very... More

Wife and I had been in Toronto all day and on our back home decided to stop in Port Hope for dinner. When we pulled off the 401 highway we saw the sign for Wimpy's. We have never had a bad meal at this chain. We were greeted by a friendly waitress named Maria. She took our order for coffee... More

Wait staff are cheerful and friendly. Portions are huge. It's a nice place to go for a breakfast treat.

I eat here several time a month and always take my overseas students with me. Each and every time the staff is attentive, the cook puts my meal on as soon as they see me and all of my guests are treated like good friends. The food is always great and tastes home cooked. A wonderful place to go and... More

It has a nice 50s vibe to it but the food wasn't really that great. If you want and fast and greasy food, this is the place to eat. I always end up feeling gross and sick after eating here. Staff are friendly, service is quick, not very busy in the afternoon. This wouldn't be my first choice for lunch/breakfast... More

Stopped here for breakfast. Have not been in about 2 years as premises were becoming get unclean and food tasted more and more like old cooking oil. Under new management for last 1 1/2years, and what a difference. Place is clean and bright. Had a fantastic 4 egg super western that had to be 3" high, and spouse had classic... More

I go here occasionally when I am in the mood for diner fare. I am never disappointed. I do not work there, nor have I ever just to be clear. I love a vintage style diner and the food is always tasty and always received what I ordered. The wait staff are friendly and the last one we had was... More

...then again it's wimpys. Server was awkward, creepy, and seemed to have no personality. Food was not good at all. Should have gone to McDonald's across the road.
