A good place for a hearty classic breakfast

I took my son and his best friend out for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. No trouble getting a seat and we had coffee in our mugs within a minute. We all order the Canadian skillet. The boys can eat and they both commented on the size of the skillet and the quantity of food. We all managed to... read more

We took our mom there for dinner. The service was ok but the the food was not edible, even rice. It was so bad that we left most of it. I am sorry to say but Just don't go there... Very disappointed.

We had time between curling games to go have lunch. Beef dip was good. Skillets are excellent. Everything is homed cooked. We tried to eat here last time we were in Port Elgin and they were extremely busy. Today we got a table right away. I would recommend as the prices are reasonable. I felt potions were great.

The atmosphere is your typical breakfast restaurant, but does offer a variety of seating options from 2 per table to larger groups. The food is very good and the service is good.

Food was okay but not quite what I was expecting, could have been an off day, I had heard from other people that it was good.

Had the chicken Caesar wrap for lunch. The food arrived promptly and was hot and tasty. Fries were crispy and nicely spiced. Waitress was very friendly,

We had breakfast here one morning. Everything was delicious. Service was a little confusing and slow at first, but after we were recognized, everything went well. Would definitely go back.

It's decor is very old country and cafeteria like. The breakfast was good, big portion decent coffee, service was good. Overall ok. We only had breakfast.
