Good country cooking

Aunt Mabel's is always a good place to experience local cooking. The wait staff are friendly, the service is prompt and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We enjoyed a hamburger and the club sandwich. We came in right at the end of a rush but service was still good. We would eat here again.

The food is excellent and aski the service. However if you want breakfast come by early for the hash browns. They aren't the greatest at later breakfast

I haven't eaten here in a very long time but did so during this long weekend. My wife and I each had a different skillet and both of us were impressed. The kids both had Belgian waffles and ate every bite. Our waitress was friendly as was the owner. I can certainly recommend this place for breakfast and look forward... More

Aunt Mabels is a country kitchen and does serve good servings at good prices plus it opens early for out of town workers staying in town. It has a reputation for good eats at good prices among traveling workers in town for a few days or months. It's not the Ritz, it's Aunt Mabels and could be just the place... More

Really nice and comfortable family restaurant. Typical breakfast selections and great service! I wish we had more independent restaurants like this in toronto. Makes it worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to port Elgin!!

Large variety of menu options. Good breakfast. Hungry man breakfast is a little pricey. Service is a bit slow at times. Some of the wait staff could be friendlier.

You have to drop in and get a slice ( or 2 ) of their awesome pies. They have a wide selection and give you good value for the price. I love the coconut cream and the raspberry pie too.

I have ordered take out twice from Aunt Mables, both orders two standard breakfast takeouts. Each time I have ordered take out the order has been almost $30 for a couple eggs, toast and homefries. Save your money and eat elsewhere, the food is triple the price of other local restaurants.
