We love going to Aunt Mabel's, specially for breakfast, their food is always done right, and the service never disappointed us.

Have been here several times, and each time it is the same good food, service and prices. I believe everyone should visit at least once and you will be a frequent visitor.

Even though it was really really busy, we got an amazing breakfast at a decent price with really good service with a smile (thanks to Darlene). Enjoyed our previous visits and weren't disappointed this time again.

We stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Corn Beef Special with a salad and a coffee from our waiter who was a middle age woman. I waited a extra long time for it to arrive and a younger waitress had to sort out which one was for me, she put it in front of me and speed off. We... More

Another pleasant family outing. Everyone was pleased with their food, based on broad selection, great taste and generous portions. Can't beat fresh-cut fries which they do not even advertise in their menu. The home-made lemon meringue pie was a great finish to a most enjoyable meal.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. It has had it's ups and downs and has stood the test of time. But the last few times I have been in the food just isn't the same as it use to be. I use to love the roast beef there and lately it has been tough, fatty and less... More

The wait staff are wonderful and know all the regulars. The menu is fairly extensive. They could use a major renovation since there has been definite roof issues and one can see where the leaks are. They could also turn up the heat in the winter so one doesn't tremble while eating. Other than that, the food is good and... More

Went there for dinner. We were greeted right away. Service was good. Food was fast and fresh. I thought it was a little pricey. We had a cheese omelette, BLT, cup of tea, and one beer for over $27.00. Lots of other places we will try before returning.

Visiting Port Elgin again and thought we would go out for breakfast. The parking lot was full! We walked in and two waitresses were too busy chatting at the bar to notice us, ...but one finally got over to give us menus and then we were served coffee and left to sit. The women were too busy talking at the... More

The food was like home cooking. Visited there several times during our two weeks on vacation. Service provided was also excellent. Servicers Melissa, Michelle, Alison and Ana were very good as far as making you welcome and provided good hospitality. Glenda also provided a welcome to us and several others
