My friend and I decided to enjoy a beer on their patio while waiting for my husband on a sunny WINDY fall afternoon. The server had quickly brought us her beer when a gust of wind knocked over the beer, spilling it. The server came to clean it up, advised us that she would pour my friend another one. Before... Fiddleheads is housed in an old mill, and is truly lovely to visit. The vibe and atmosphere of the building alone put this restaurant head and shoulders above its competition. The bar area makes odd use of the space available, but the windows make the space bright and welcoming, the broad selection of beers on tap is to Fiddleheads' credit,... More

have had lunch here severaltimes and have allways enjoyed the food and service. Had my first supper there last night and the food was good but I must say the servings did not match the price. Found the size of the meals a little small considering the price. That said it was still a nice meal and the service once... More

Was in Perth at the end of August for a birthday party. We were walking downtown and decided to get a bite to eat for lunch. We stopped at Fiddleheads and had lunch on the terrace. The food was great, the waitress was charming, the sun was shinning and very hot and the view of Stewart Park across the street... More

I looked forward to returning to Fiddleheads but the new menu is unappealing and the clientele were less than casual.

We enjoyed our lunch at this place....the setting was great, we were outside with a view of Big Ben and Ian Millar statue. (that was a nice surprise to a horse-person like me) Service was good, but I think the portions were somewhat small for the price. We had the poutines with Guinness sauce, and the honey garlic wings, a... More

Driving home from Peterborough we decided to add a bit of time to our drive so we could have something to eat at Fiddleheads. We got there at 3:30 - but no menu is available until 4:00. Not a big deal becuase we had a beer while we waited BUT it was an inconvenience as it added time to our... More

The décor is old world and the service is efficient. The mostly pub style fare is acceptable and the ingredients of good quality. The décor is the star as the restaurant is housed in a former mill. Nice place to visit with adjoining shops

My wife and I attended the garlic festival in Perth today. We had arrived early enough in Perth to enjoy Sunday Brunch. Upon entering the facility at approx 12:15 p.m. we noticed many vacant tables in the dining room. While being seated by a very gracious server we were offered a table for 2 situated against a brick column in... More

We had lunch here. Lovely dining room near the park in an old stone building. But very average food. Hamburgers were a main item, but the two we tried were just fair, nothing to write about. Service was friendly and pleasant, but no reason to to recommend this place to eat.
