At Home

The location of the restaurant is perfect. Small town in a forested setting. If you are a hiker this restaurant is a "must" visit. Just steps away from the Mono Cliffs section of the Bruce Trail. You get the feeling that you are visiting someone's home rather than a restaurant.

Although the ambience is nice, I found employees to be harsh. The food is really good, but pricey for what you get.

We visited on a Sat night and it was very busy (make a reservation!). Most of the customers are 50s and up, wealthy people living in Caledon or Orangeville area, I suppose. The lowest priced food is close to $30 (entree). A good variety of drink menu. Drinks are average-priced. The portion of the main dish is small - average.... More

Wayne will absolutely make your stay memorable. The Calamari is the best I have had and the tenderloin really doesn't need a knife! Peter Celler's Pub is the place to eat with the Wine Cellar Room available to be booked for large parties.

We enjoy visiting Mono Cliffs on special occasions. This time we went with a group of friends. The food is always excellent. Our server Siobhan was attentive and friendly. We had the east side dining room to ourselves and had a great time.

We had a fantastic time at the Mono Cliffs Inn with two other couples. We reserved the cellar, which provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere among friends. The walls are adorned with layers of wine and the entire basement is nestled between rock and stone. The calamari were excellent and the Caesar salad was nicely done. The grilled haddock was... Had a lovely dinner here just recently with friends. As we live close by we have been here several times and always enjoyed it! The food is excellent. The ambiance unique. The wine selection remarkable. There is a strong feature of Australian wines which are easy to enjoy. A reservation is highly recommended, particularly on the weekends. Take the time... More

Won a meal for 4 last summer. We ate outside which was great. I really don't remember what we all had but I do remember that the sides were nothing special. The desserts were nothing special. It was great that we had a meal out.

We had dinner here on Valentine's Day and were surprised to find the recent renos have gone more Hampton's beach in feel, a big step away from its original old Ontario, woodsy, general store vibe. Pale wood, light paint colours in the mudroom entry and a big coat rack is now what greets you. Practical yes, but not exactly a... More
