This place has a great feel to it and the service i received was awesome!!! When it comes to the food, in particular, the burger and fries i must be honest and say it is average. The fries needed 2-3 minutes more of cooking time, and the burger patty could definitely use some more seasoning.

Holy buckets, the staff is bending over backwards, funny, hardworking, and I'm not returning to the States. Ordered the sampler beer flight and the saison is brewed in house, spectacular. Can't wait to eat the food!

Never had a bad meal, I like that the menu is locally sourced as well as the wine. Don't be fooled by the small town location it is BUSY and you need a reservation. We actually bought a package and stayed there upstairs in the B&B as well and it was great. I was worried about hearing a lot of... More

The menu is unique, interesting and enticing, absolutely recommend anyone visiting from other areas to try this out as it showcases a lot of what Essex county has to offer from fresh local meats and vegetable to a wide selection of local wines. Great atmosphere, beautiful patio, great food.

The restaurant had very good food, the waiter was excellent. Then room we had at the B&B above the restaurant was very spacious. The only thing I would like to see is the robes they offer to be cleaner there were stains on one of them. And the coffe maker they had for their guest to use for the containental breakfast... More

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday night. We had an 8:00 pm reservation. We were greeted by the owner and promptly seated on the second floor. One of the first things I noticed was that there is a good amount of privacy. The music was playing at the perfect level so you didn't have to shout... More

I was not too impressed the first time, but a week later we were with relatives who chose Jack's and to be honest there are a limited number of restaurants. Having been put off by the fish on our first visit I chose a burger. It was okay, well presented and a full meal. Again the fish seemed too variable.... More

Looked forward to coming here to celebrate my birthday so we had reservations otherwise they turn you away (Yes, they are stuck up) The menu is very limited and they just rewrote it! They removed key staples that they were known for! All that hype does not measure up to mediocre burgers.

Sorry you were disappointed. Reservations are always recommended for anyone that isn't interested in waiting, our restaurant only seats a total of 66 guests and 18 of those are on the porch which we offer to walk in customers, so for those who do choose to wait it usually isn't much more then 15 to 20 minutes. Our menu actually... More

Amazing menu was hard to choose what to eat. All sounded great. Liked that despite being February they have covered and heated the porch for outdoor eating. As an added bonus there were blankets for your lap. We found out the local butcher shop supplies meat for Jack's burgers. This made us realize how fresh the food is and appreciated... More
