A good senior buffet luncheon on Tuesday's was enjoyed at the Elm Hurst Inn. The selection was good.

30, December 2014. Buffet Lunch. The reception was brusque and the servers hurried to the point of inattentiveness. The buffet consisted mainly of vegetables and carbohydrates; meat consisted of one (1) 5mm thick slice of prime rib beef. The coffee was good - I had 2 cups.

No question this is a popular lunch and dinner location and we are told it is a popular local venue for celebrations. This visit was simply for lunch and clearly others had the same idea as the car park was packed even before noon. Certainly easy to reach just a few yards off the 401 at Exit 218 and likely... More

If you're looking for something upscale, then the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa has a great dining room. If you're into seafood, then try their monthly (last Friday of each month except December), their Seafood Buffet. You can eat all the shrimp, crab or lobster you can handle. Excellent buffet. Any other time, try a menu item for lunch or... More

Okay, I don't mean to dump on the little town of Ingersoll – but let's be honest – it's not a big city. Meanwhile, this restaurant serves big city good food and provides big city good dining experience. I went with the $45 chefs plate which included the salad, the main course which I chose the prime rib, and dessert.... More

We've now been to the Elm Hurst for brunch twice and have been more than impressed with the beautiful facility, attentive and friendly service and the reasonable price. Brunch buffets are not my favourite, but the food is quite good at the Elm Hurst and works very well for a large group where there is something for everyone and people... More

Went here for a wedding. The grounds are wonderful and well kept, perfect setting for a wedding. The food served was amazing…one of the best cuts of prime rib I have ever had. Wedding food usually isn’t the best due to mass cooking but not in this case. Would defiantly go to the restaurant for dinner

We went on a Saturday night with another couple to celebrate both of our anniversaries. I think we got the last parking spot as a large wedding was at the venue that evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and were seated in a main floor room. Our waiter was very friendly and we had our drinks very quickly. Our... More

Quality ambiance, service and food at a decent price. This dining room is known for holiday buffets which are second to none.

My wife and I booked a table last evening to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We have dined at this establishment many times in the past fifteen years have never been disappointed, until now. When we arrived there was a newly wedded couple having their photos taken on the front lawn and a large tent had been erected in the... More
