Had dinner here on a moments notice while waiting for a tow one frigid night. Options are very limited at the Bowmanville mall so after reviewing the predominantly sushi type menu decided to try this place. I'm not a big sushi fan but thought I could try something else on the menu. My son was with me and we ventured... More

Being new to Bowmanville it as been fun trying the local restaurants and there are plenty. Decided to give Niko's Bowmanville Family Restaurant a go for lunch....waited ages for a server to bring us menus, I was aware of the time because of the TV overhead. Anyway I ordered a BLT toasted on brown with a side of home fries,... More

Visited this restaurant recently while visiting a family member in the nearby hospital. There was 4 adults & 1 child. The place was half busy. The service was not the greatest. Waitress had to be reminded a couple of times for things. When the food arrived it was barely warm. All but one of us had breakfast. Our son had... More

Not sure where to start? The food and preparation is terrible, prices are comically exorbitant for a greasy spoon. I would have hoped that a greasy spoon would at least serve up some artery clogging goodness; not the case. This was a desperation stop for lunch....lesson learned.

We usually go here at least once per week for the breakfast special. This restaurant can be a busy spot at times. With it being so busy it would be nice to have more than 2 servers working the whole restaurant. This causes long waits to place an order, find a clean table etc. etc. etc., On the last two... More

The server was excellent. I can't say enough about how she was the epitome of what a proper server should be. The price was quite reasonable. I ordered the 14oz. New York strip dinner and asked if they would substitute some extra mashed potatoes instead of the garden salad which was included in the meal. They had no problem doing... More

They have been around for a long time, and I can't see why. We went there only once and will never go back. Had a steak sandwich and it was complete with fat, no seasoning or flavour and the buns were so soggy. The booths looked like they were a hundred years old. Definitely needed renovation. The restaurant was filled... More

This is a family run restaurant in my home town. It's in a little strip mall on the main street. At one time the food was ok, as in not bad. However I can't even say that anymore. The food was dry and tasted like freeze dried, pre-packaged third grade food. It pains me to say it as I like... More
