Very nice meal and great service.

Went here after driving around looking for a nice dinner in this town. It didn't look very inviting on the outside but the food and service were excellent. We were treated great and I have a gluten issue which they accommodated. It was good value and we recommend it. Only one thing to improve... read more

We went to Crofters when spending one night enroute in the area. Our hotel had it listed as a nearby restaurant. The decor is very old, hadn't been updated in over 30 years. The table and chairs are uncomfortable, each person must straddle a table leg and climbing in and out during the meal requires real talent. Our children had... More

I haven't been here in a while so decided to stop in about a week ago, and if I could sum it all up it would be what the title says. The service was good, not great, the place itself is dated, nothing that stands out. The food was okay, there was some flavour but nothing that would bring me... More

We were at the restaurant celebrating our anniversary . The mashed potatoes were awful and the vegitables were cold. The stteak was ordered medium well and came to the table burnt. We will not be eating here again.

We only tried one thing on the menu - a grilled "prime rib" steak which we'd never heard of before - it was tender, delicious, but a little over seasoned - would rather add the seasoning myself! Hard to judge rest of menu , when that's all we had but it seemed popular with locals having good prices and service.

After passing all those famous lobster restaurant in Nova Scotia, on our way home to Connecticut we stopped by this little restaurant. It is a little nice place. We ordered lobster dinner and it was served with meshed potato and sautéed veggies. Lobster was good. Meshed potato was different to my taste, no salt and no butter. I wouldn't change... More

Had a great dinner of steak and lobster special. Steak was very good and the lobster was also tasty. This place has been here for a long time but always find the food to be excellent.

They are definitely focused on the bland clientele. If they did not have a "Seniors Special" we would have been alone in the restaurant. We did not order from the Seniors special and they did not have my first choice on the limited menu. ( I assume there was none in the freezer) We had a Cesar (that is what... More

I ordered the New York strip lion and it was like cutting through butter. Nicely seasoned and the mash was good. Vegies were soft and watery though which was my only complaint. The waitress was very humorous and actually helped me with a local Nova Scotia wine to purchase at the LC. Lol the east coasters know how to have... More

The fish is always good but they insist on putting butter on absolutely everything. My salmon was lovely but much too much quantity. The potatoes were dry and lumpy and the vegetables were almost non existent and greasy - mostly green peppers which I don't consider vegetables - yuk. My arteries will take a week to recover.
