Nothing fancy about the Kiwi but the food is fresh and tasty , served with a smile ! You can tell that the owner/manager cares about this place. We will return soon.

The Kiwi is such a unique restaurant, which has a lot of kiwi themed items. The food id delicious which is prepared with local products. The menu is full of heathy choices, their soups are so different, their curry butternut squash soup is very tasty with just a hint of curry. My favourite sandwich has to be the arugula, pear... More

We haven't been the Kiwi in while and I forgot just how unique and delicious their food is. My husband had a red lentil soup and vegetarian burger. They make the patty inhouse and serve it with chipolte mayo and caramelized onions. I had a quinoa, pear and feta salad that was large and satisfying. We shared a slice of... More

After reading numerous positive Trip Advisor reviews, we added this onto our Chester / Mahone Bay / Lunenberg day trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun and funky ambiance, complete with numerous kiwi themed decorations - a charming touch. I ordered gluten free toast with a spinach/goat cheese/ avacodo with smoked salmon omelette. Fellow Trip Advisor reviewers - it... More

Great place in Chester! Our favourite spot since moving to the South Shore. I'm vegetarian and have tried the veggie panini and veggie burger, they are both really great. Wonderful atmosphere. If you are in for a tasty treat, They also make some incredible brownies.

What a surprise! We just happened upon this cafe while driving through Chester and ended up having the best coffee and lunch we had in Nova Scotia. A great location in the historic centre of Chester. Mthe atmosphere is really friendly, wifi is good, service great. And it really is owned and managed by a Kiwi (New Zealander)

Great cafe with good selection of food at a reasonable price. Well cooked and presented along with prompt and efficient service. Well worth the stop, I would return when next in the area. Perhaps the only disadvantage is parking can be difficult, so do take that into account for anyone with limited mobility

I am prompted to write this review over a meal that me and my wife's family had when they were visiting recently. My brother in law is a vegetarian and gets mixed results when dining out. Not so at the Kiwi though. He ordered the veggie burger and has been raving about it ever since. He said it was so... More
