Loved the lobster egg Benedict and the seafood chowder, both are rich and flavourful. They taste especially great on the sunny patio overlooking the bay. The severs are all very polite and engaging as well which adds to the experience. Top notch east coast dining!

This is the place for perfectly prepared lobster, a table overlooking the marina and bay, fresh drinks and breezes, impeccable service. Just a very short drive from Route 3 and well worth going out of your way.

Opted for an early dinner and found the restaurant very quiet with lots of empty tables. The dining room overlooks a marina and the harbour is a lovely backdrop for a seaside dinner. Our waitress was knowledgable about all the dishes and with just the correct amount of attentiveness she deserves top marks.I chose the buttermilk encrusted haddock and my partner had... I arranged a lunch for 30 professionals on June 11. The manager was very helpful and insured our needs were met. The servers were great! The food was very good. The view is wonderful from the dining room and deck.

This was a first-time visit for me. The view was breathtaking! Food was delicious... A little pricey, but so worth it for lobster! I have been living in Chester for near 2 years, and just discovered this gem! Better signage and advertising may help.

Very nice experience to eat 1 lb of lobster while looking at the bay and the warf. Excellent taste at a reasonable price. Good service.

I didn't know about this place until my wife suggested we stop by for lunch. Down a small road, so it's kind of off the beaten path, to the shore of the marina and into an old mariner's house we went. Not busy on this cloudy day, but the outside patio looks fantastic as it overlooks the bay and I... More

Last year when we went I had the best lobster chowder I have ever tasted..we were so excited to go back and sample more ..well what a disappointment. The lobster was tough, the vegetables were too crispy for a chowder, and the taste just wasn't there. The waitress told me they have a new cook..too bad..they should try and get the old cook... I haven't eaten here in awhile and we drove by and decided to stop for lunch and it was fantastic! It's a really gorgeous place, the view is beautiful and we had superb service from Joe. My husband had the burger which was a top notch beef burger with bacon and cheese and I had the hot lobster sandwich. Both... More

The Galley opened for the season May 15th, 2014, so we had to come down from St Margaret's Bay the next day to sample the new menu. As expected, it was terrific. Thanks to Chef Jeff for new creative ideas and Holly for being such a friendly and enthusiastic server. We were able to enjoy the first nice day sitting... More
