This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend that works out east during the summer. I went with my girlfriend who is Gluten-Free and both of us really enjoyed the meal. The staff was excellent, the view was amazing and the food was incredible. 2 entrees with drinks will probably cost you 50-60$ but it was well worth it.... More

We had previously eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and were always quite satisfied with the quality of the food and service. This July however, our wedding anniversary meal with another couple was sadly very disappointing for everyone. The pasta was without flavour, similar to what you might expect from a microwaved frozen dinner purchased at the... More

We all had fish & chips or as they call it Panco Haddock & Chips, nice size portions, not that heavy deep fried taste, fries nicely well done, coleslaw was a bit to soupie for my taste. The warm donut balls were excellent, and our server was great too. The view while sitting on the deck was great. Over all... More

Our family enjoyed the unique hidden gem known as the galley restaurant Chester. The chowder had an awesome flavour .The muscles were cooked to perfection . To top it off the lobster tails with the steak and tail were FRESH and succulent. Our server Margaret was very pleasant. I highly recommend this seaside treasure .

When I visited the Galley the first year it opened, the food was not good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food and service was very good on a recent visit. Our friendly waitress Sandy gave us good suggestions about the menu and accomodated our special requests. We first had drinks on the outside deck with its stunning... More

Loved the lobster egg Benedict and the seafood chowder, both are rich and flavourful. They taste especially great on the sunny patio overlooking the bay. The severs are all very polite and engaging as well which adds to the experience. Top notch east coast dining!

This is the place for perfectly prepared lobster, a table overlooking the marina and bay, fresh drinks and breezes, impeccable service. Just a very short drive from Route 3 and well worth going out of your way.

Opted for an early dinner and found the restaurant very quiet with lots of empty tables. The dining room overlooks a marina and the harbour is a lovely backdrop for a seaside dinner. Our waitress was knowledgable about all the dishes and with just the correct amount of attentiveness she deserves top marks.I chose the buttermilk encrusted haddock and my partner had... This was a first-time visit for me. The view was breathtaking! Food was delicious... A little pricey, but so worth it for lobster! I have been living in Chester for near 2 years, and just discovered this gem! Better signage and advertising may help.
