Live music, good pub food and a fun filled atmosphere made this a fun place for dinner during our time on the Trail. The service was good, especially given how busy they were, and there was a great live guitarist playing. Loads of families, groups of friends and people of all ages. Would definitely suggest dropping in!

We ended up eating here 2 nights, since it was one of the few places open after 7pm. Great cape Breton style food, and local wine from Nova Scotia. One night had wonderful local acoustic guitarist.

Doing the trail, I had built up a hunger. Friendly service, of that there is no doubt. I had a signature burger featured on one of those eat American junk food, which was rather nondescript. Maybe I ordered badly, as some other stuff exiting the kitchen looked far better. Wife's order was not so inspiring as for me to recall... More

Today is the last day the pub is open before the close of season. We had grilled haddock - delicious - and we matched it with an Alexander Keith 'Red Beer', made in Nova Scotia - a great complement to our meal. We used the free wifi to send our photos of the National Park to our relatives and friends.

Busy place with many locals. We ate here near the end of the season (mid Oct) during Celtic Festival. I am sure it is plenty busy during the summer season. Service was "ok" but the food was very good. My husband was happy with his chicken wrap and spinach salad and my choice of french onion soup and lobster salad... More

We ordered the Ringer burger and the veggie panini, and both meals were awesome! The service was fast, friendly and we left happy. Wish we would have had dinner there the night before instead of going to the main street restaurant, which was a big disappointment (see other review).

We asked a local and he recommended this place. It turns out the Food Network had already found it and highly recommends it. The "Ringer" burger was good, but I liked the cinnamon skillet dessert best.
