We stopped at the Coastal Restaurant for lunch and had a great time. The food was excellent, we enjoyed every minute. They were fairly busy but we didn't mind waiting for our food, we were on vacation and were enjoying our time together. We all ate something different but it was all excellent. The waiter was great, we were very... More

We are from Duxbury south of Boston so we are a bit spoiled with our New England seafood but we must say that this was the worst seafood platter ever! Clam strips were so small and breaded like out of a can. I've attached a picture! Just horrible. The haddock was fair. Only 4 tiny tiny scallops. 2 seafood platters,... More

This was a great find. The service was good and the food was great. A bonus surprise was how affordable this place was for a family. The children's menu looks simple and cheap but the portions come out as if they are for an adult. The Lebowski and the Ringer are excellent!

The only reason to come here is for the Cinnamon Skillet! Such an amazing and delicious dessert! The seafood chowder was like eating pudding (if there is such a thing). The soup was so thick it reminded me of pudding. I did not like it at all! The Big Lebowski burger was meh! The bun for the burger was way... More

Since we were staying in Ingonish, we were committed to eating dinner somewhere in the community one night. We probably should have eaten the "You Gotta Eat Here" stuff, but I was kind of sick of burgers and fries from travel and wanted a little healthier fare. The maple glazed salmon was overcooked and rubbery. Kids meals were all fine.... More

This was one of our least impressive meals during our 10 day trip in Nova Scotia. We stopped here because we thought it would be fast, good and cheap. It was none of them. There was a big group on the patio and the restaurant was half full. It took forever for them to come by and take our order.... More

Grrat stop on the Cabot trail. Crab dip was delightful, lobster sandwich was as good as i had on the trip. Staff were attentive and service was great. Love the East Coast hospitality.

The food doesn't not match the building in terms of quality. The food was great but the building was rather run down and extremely casual. Ordered their signature Coastal Ringer Burger and it was excellent! Ceaser salad was meh but the Brownie Skillet for desert was heavenly.

We hit the jackpot on this stop. After riding several hours on the Bike and finally seeing a place to eat, we were very happy to have found this one opened. It was a very inviting Pub. The food was good and had a friendly welcoming/Atmosphere. Would definitely stop there again if ever back in that area.

Had a variety of foods and all tasted good, the seafood chowder was very good but thin. Maybe a local taste but I enjoy a thicker cream base. The apple crumble desert was outstanding!
