Great food - interesting place

We had the burgers that this place is famous for - The Ringer, and it lived up to the hype. With a huge side of fries, the only complaint is that the plate was entirely brown (fries, burger with delicious sauce and onion rings, but no veggies to be found). I wouldn't have had room for extras... read more

The moment we walked into this resto we knew we were going to spend lots of time here. Food was average. It seemed that they prepare everything from scratch. If you dont' have lots of time do not eat here.

Stopped in for lunch during a motor cycle tour of the Cape. Menu was fine, service fast, place was clean and staff were friendly. Would have ordered the lobster however it was out of season.

After a hard day of hiking we needed some food. The Coastal was a great choice. Appetizer was quick and good. Food came out hot and delicious. Nice homemade fries. Great lobster club. Everyone was happy.

Nothing special at an average price. That is not necessarily a bad thing as it was what one may expect from any pub. Yes it is noisy, it's a Pub and the Restaurant is not seperate. With that said, prehaps the difference being the menu offered many items less common at a Pub. However, still served Pub style in a... More

My girlfriend and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat while passing through Ingonish. We ordered something called the big Lebowski. It was a magnificent burger stuffed with swiss cheese and mushrooms and other delicious things. It was by far the best tasting burger we ever had. ANd try their onion rings (ringers) because they're delicious too!

Stopped for lunch during a trip around the Cabot Trail. The wait staff was very nice and helped us with our selections. Our sandwiches were great and there was plenty of food to satisfy us. The prices were also reasonable. My one caution is that the restaurant consists of one large room, this might get quite noisy when the restaurant... More

Visited last weekend and the food was really disappointing - we ordered the crab starter dish and in it was a whole bulb of a green onion complete with the roots! yuk. My fries must have been cooked many times over and my daughter and son in law had the seafood platter that was very unappetizing - they also ordered... More

This restaurant was on Food Network so I understand. Maybe I should have ordered what they focused on, seemed like a lot of people did. My wife had a burger that was just a burger, I had a panini pulled pork sandwich on Ciabata bread. The amount of pork on that compressed sandwich left a little to be desired. The... More
