The view out the window of the sea and the sunset was a lovely setting for this fine dining experience. We wanted a typical Acadian meal and used the friendly waitress's knowledge of the menu to order our food. We started off with one serve of the mussels. So fresh, such a generous quantity that is was enough for two,... More

We wanted to try some real Acadian food so we decided to try this restaurant. The ladies are all dressed in traditional costume and are very welcoming and friendly. 2 of us had the meat pie with the salad, (the salad dressing is home made) and the other 2 tried the Evangeline sampler which had a fish cake, a small... Good selection of food supplies if you are in the area and want some snacks, or something to cook. Service was quick and helpful.

We tried the Acadian meat pie which was a mixture of shredded chicken and pork In a tasty crust. It came with salad, bread, molasses and molasses butter for the bread. For dessert we tried the butterscotch pie which had meringue on top and was just as delicious as it sounds. The restaurant is bright, clean and the servers are... More

Canadian prices are above ours in Maine, but for a "local" bargain, shop @ the Co-Op. The personnel was helpful and friendly. Store was clean and well stocked.

The food was home cooked and the servers couldn't have nicer. The mussels were fabulous and the prices were very good.

Had dinner here while staying in Cheticamp at Albert's Motel, right across from the restaurant. It was very quiet, end of September, but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had had so much seafood by then, that the chicken stew we ordered was a delicious alternative. The ladies in their Acadian dress and accent were just a delight... More

This restaurant is nothing fancy but the food is for real. It is well worth the visit if you like local foods. We had dinner, but you might like it for lunch as well.

It was a joy to encounter a ceilidh at lunch. The food was really good, the service excellent, but when one of the staff started dancing with a customer, I knew we were in a good place!
