They make all their own baked goods, which are delicious and quite large. They also have gluten-free bread, muffins and cookies available. If you're in Baddeck and need breakfast or lunch or a picnic, this is the place to go.

Great sandwiches but be aware it is very popular so there will be a line. Ingredients are fresh and it's well prepared. It isn't special...it is a sandwich and a drink but it's as good as you'll find locally if this is what you are looking for. Tasty breakfast too.

Had breakfast here before heading out for a long travel day. They have many tasty and healthy options including gluten free. We ate outside on the deck, very nice. They made me a special breakfast sandwich with gluten free bead, spinach, eggs, tomato. I was happy. The beverages were served in great ceramic cups.

We spent one night in Baddeck and bought breakfast here in the morning. A simmonelli espresso machine meant a decent coffee. We had ours along with breakfast bagels loaded with bacon and eggs. A great stop. They had a nice selection of pâté rides and scones which were not tasted. They will also do packed lunches for the road.

We had breakfast here one morning. Everything appeared to be fresh and made to order. Food and coffee were excellent, and we bought some oat cakes to take with us on our way, which were delicious.

Wonderful small cafe with a bit of everything. We ordered box lunches to take with us on the Cabot Trail. The High Wheeler bakes their own bread. The sandwiches are made on thick slices of this yummy bread. We had porridge bread, which is similar to oatmeal. Also included were large homemade cookies, a piece of fruit and a drink.... More

What a great little cafe, scones to die for, breads and other goodies to tempt anyone. Cinamin rolls so large they are a meal. Great regular breakfasts (eggs, toast, sausage/ham) for a good price. Highly recommend you drop by.

Absolutely best sandwich so far! Beautiful baked goods all made on site. The shortbread cookies, blueberry/raspberry scone and molasses buns all delicious. We stopped in for lunch and returned next day for a repeat! Lovely little patio to enjoy your lunch and watch the folks go by!

Had breakfast here 2 days at 7:00am. Family run business. Friendly hardworking folks, good coffee, excellent pastries and other baked goods plus good breakfast sandwiches. You won't be disappointed.
