We eat here just about every time we're in Baddeck, which is several times a year. They have excellent baked goods. Their soup, sandwiches and salads never disappoint. On a nice day, you can eat on the patio and watch the world go by.

We picked up breakfast here two mornings and ate on the Cabot Trail. The first morning we both tried the blueberry scone which was large and absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was wonderful and I highly recommend stopping here for any meal.

This restaurant was recommended for breakfast by a couple we had met the night before. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning and overheard a lady rave about the blueberry, raspberry scone - how moist it was compared to other scones she had. We bought the last scone that morning and two pieces of the bumble berry pie. OMG.. they... More

We arrived at a very busy time and were served with patience and good humour. The soup was delicious and the bread was fresh and filled with meat. We took a selection of cookies with us and all were exceptional. I wish I could get my hands on the oat cake recipe!

We bought several items to sustain us during our stay in a cottage. The berry cheesecake was amazing. The gluten-free muffins (among several gluten-free offerings) are very good. The oatcakes filled with peanut-butter creme and dipped in chocolate are addictive. We had a lot of questions, and the fellow behind the counter was extremely patient and friendly. It ain't cheap,... Pleasant place to eat, some very reasonable combinations that include a fruit salad. Lots of different breakfast choices from light and healthy to sinfully filling and delicious. Great coffee, the only orange juice was bottled. We had two breakfasts here, noted that they also had some very tasty sounding lunch sandwiches that they would also pack in picnic lunches. I'm... Expecting to recieve a delicious meal at the high wheeler cafe , I ended up two hairs in my food and told a staff member that waited on me that there was hair on my food and her response was " well thats not good" while walking away. Generally i would... More

A lovely Main Street cafe serving up hearty sandwiches (scones, and bakery items) which can be enjoyed on site or as take away to be enjoyed while on the Cabot Trail.

A good find in Baddeck for light fare. Highly recommend the apple struedel and the breakfast egg sandwich!

We had breakfast here twice. The little bakery makes the most wonderful cinnamon rolls, bran muffins and granola bars. We took the granola bars on the Cabot Trail with us. The gentleman who runs the place is so nice. Oh, and the coffee is great. They open early, too.
