Nice location on the main street in Baddeck. We had the pizza which was good and sat in the enclosed outdoor seating area. The service was prompt and the food was priced right.

It was such a change, brilliant though fish and lobster is, it was great to have a change. Yellow Cello Café certainly provides that. Last meal here before returning home provided a fitting finale to our trip.

We had a lovely quick lunch on the deck in the sunshine. For dinner, we ate inside and had a great pizza. Hubby really liked his Cape Breton Sundae!!!

An evening meal at this cafe has both pros and cons. Pros: A cheery, welcoming atmosphere that makes one feel happy. Very good servers. Good service Cons: Food is okay. Nothing to get excited about for sure. Average at best. Chicken Fettuccini tastes as if the sauce was bottled and had little flavour. However, my companions chili was quite acceptable.... More

I'll keep it pithy in my own humble opinion and experience: PROS: (1) pleasant server/waitress. CONS: (1) "known" for their pizza, we ordered it. Two of us got violently sick later in the day. The sausage pizza was taken from a link and cut in thick pieces. Very spicy, and the texture was just wrong for pizza. Too thick. The... More

Only a few places open for breakfast, this was a good choice. They had several options for eggs, pancakes and French toast. Everything was cooked as ordered, served hot, and coffee refilled as needed. A nice place to eat, prices reasonable.

After touring the Bell Museum; we stopped for lunch. We were greeted by Michelle with a cheery friendly smile. Lunch was a vegetable pineapple tortilla that was fresh and delicious. Homemade soup of the day was yummy. View from the outside deck was nice.

The Yellow Cello is a spot where you need to know that there specialty is what you should be going for. I've read the other views and see the theme - but the pizza here is excellent. My wife and I split a Spinach and Feta 12 inch pizza and shared a huge house salad all for under $30. There... More
