I went here today to get breakfast. I'm travelling alone . On entering the cafe the 2 people serving were busy. The female eventually told me to go and find a seat and she would be with me shortly. The cafe was busy and there was a 4 seat table which needed clearing and a 6 seat which was ready.I... More

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was so-so, but for the price it was good. Pretty standard breakfast. There are not many places for a good breakfast in Baddeck.

Quite busy when we went in, but friendly service, if slow. OH had pizza, and I had the seafood risotto, both good. Desserts were good, though OH was initially given the wrong one, when his ice cream sundae came there was a lot of it.

This place is for sale and it's clear that no one in the place cares a whit anymore. It took us 1.5 hrs to get through a lunch of 4 sandwiches. 40 minutes after ordering we had the waitress come back to say they had run out of tomatoes. Too boot, we arrived a 1:30pm well after the lunch rush.... More

It's a nice enough place, and the food was okay, nothing special - unlike the prices. For what it was, we felt it was overpriced. There, you've been warned!

Lets just say it is best just to give this place a pass. It is also up for sale so maybe that explains the feeling that you get that nobody really cares.

Not much to say about the spot - very nice spot to have a quick bite but only expect average food and service.

My husband and I stopped in at the Yellow Cello cafe and we were disappointed overall. It was a cute little restaurant that drew us in. The food was way overpriced for what you received. It came off desperate in some ways - for example a small glass of pop (smaller than a can) for 2.75 with no refills. We... More

Four of us had lunch here on a summer afternoon - salads and other entrees. The food is at best average and the service was slow and unattentive. Prices were high for the quality.
