We dined in the McCurdy Dining Room on our anniversary!
Dining was quite different than serving in the dining room as a summer college worker!
The view was as breathtaking as when I was a young college student!
We were taken to a requested window table by a friendly hostess and then greeted by an even friendlier waitress.

The restaurant was closing in less than a week. As a result, there were several items on the menu that they could not serve. The food preparation was good and the service was OK. The lighting was bright which took away from the atmosphere.
The restaurant had nothing special on the menu and the food was ok. They had tour buses in, but seemed to handle them well and that did not affect the service.
Pasta was good. 1st & 2nd choice on the menu was sold out. Service was good. Breakfast menu was expansive but expensive. Live entertainement listed on the website was not available as they are closing for the season next week. bar was not open. Could order drinks with dinner. Drinks were reasonably priced
The dining room is nicely decorated and has a wonderful view of the water. Food was consistently good and price in line with much of what we spent on our trip to Canada
food was quite good, service was fine but it is overpriced and not a place I would hurry back to. The staff were very helpful.

However, when we arrived, the table was...

The room could use some open windows, as the heat from the morning sun was intense. For evening, after a long day of driving the Cabot Trail,...
