Their lentil soup and butternut squash soup are so amazingly tempting to the palate. Also enjoyed the quinoa tabouli and the lobster roll. Definitely will return...soon. The atmosphere is cafe-style, small and cozy, overlooking an outside dining patio.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! Great food selection as well as wines and beers - all local to Cape Breton. It's a bit on the high-end $$ but it's reflected in the quality of the meal.

We stopped here in Baddeck at lunch time. Fresh lemonade and tea biscuits to start were lovely! Chowder was awesome and full of seafood. Lobster sandwich was great too. Fish and chips only ok, but would definitely come back. Oh! Pet friendly too.

My first impression was the rude and offensive service. Meal was incorrect and had to be sent back to the kitchen after a 60 minute wait ... for a hamburger platter. The hamburger was dry and the fries were cold. No garnish on the plate made for a very visually dull presentation. There were exactly 3 biscuits served prior to... More

Great Chowder and Lobster sandwich on homemade bread! Friendly family owned and operated. Beautiful view of the Lake and the Bell Mansion!

It's always a nice surprise to find a restaurant that is understanding of toddlers. The meals were quite good.

Recommended by the locals so we tried it. Restaurant was nice enough and had a view of the harbor however I did not like the way the fish was prepared and I thought it was a little pricey.

Did not find the food fresh or presented well. We were eating with our grandchildren and they only ate the fries. The chowder was a little watery and too many potatoes. Great location but needs more attention to the quality of the food rather than the quantity.

We visited Bell Buoy twice for lunch during our week in Baddeck. On our first visit I ordered the Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms and they were so good that everyone wanted a bite. On our second visit a few days later we all ordered the Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms again. The staff were also nice enough to give us directions to find... More

Took my dad here for a lunch after visiting the Bell Museum. It was a rainy day and we had a nice seat by the window. It's a beautiful view and a great location for the restaurant. Unfortunately that's where all the goods things stop. My dad ordered the lobster sandwich with seafood chowder. The lobster was ok, but nothing... More
