The two of us had a very pleasant lobster dinner here. This is a family restaurant. We saw all ages, from toddlers to teens. The menu, which is online, offers a reasonably wide choice, with a focus on seafood. One of our starters -- the mussels -- was really excellent. The other -- seafood chowder -- was good, but not... Service was great here & the food was very tasty. We loved the stuffed mushrooms , homemade blueberry pie & ice cream for desert . I travelled with a group of 5 people & we had no complaints about any of our dishes !

We were recommended this spot as a place to get good local seafood in Baddeck and were not disappointed. As you will come to expect when visiting Cape Breton, all the seafood was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We especially liked that they had a good selection of local wines as well as beer on tap from a... More

We all loved this restaurant, especially our server. The chowder and lobster sandwich were super! Kids were happy and we were happy. Atmosphere was great as well. We sat outside and it was a warm day. Such a great spot. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Can't remember her name but she teachers up in the Baffin Islands as... More

Not the best restaurant we've ever eaten in, but not the worst. I ordered the Lobster Sandwich with the Cup of Chowde which was good, priced at 17.50 one of the cheapest entrees on the menu, and my partner ordered the Smoked Meat Sandwich with (Luke warm) fries. Portions are small, we stuck to the cheaper side of the menu... More

In reply to what you believe you saw .... I guess you missed the fact that he was extremely intoxicated !!! He was harassing our entire staff, was belligerent & rude. We have had problems in the past with this same gentleman. So has many other businesses in town.

Best seafood chowder I have ever had , what I thought was potatoes , were actually small bay scallops, full of other seafood, salmon, shrimp, Etc, a meal on its own, however we had lobster rolls done on home made bread, yum! Thank you for the service Judy!

A view out over the wharf at Baddeck and past that to lake Bras d'Or .There was live entertainment when we were there with a guitarist singing the Gord Lightfoot songbook. Lobster was fresh and succulent and we presented.

Lobster sandwich, seafood chowder and Cajun haddock were very good. They had a guy playing guitar and singing there. It was quite nice.
