We had two enjoyable meals at this family owned and operated restaurant along the Bras d'Or Lake in Baddeck - food was very good, service perfect. Good place for a nice dinner or quick lunch.

We were referred to this restaurant by our B&B and I'm glad we went. The fish chowder was very good and the complimentary rolls are the best I've ever had. The dessert was amazing, it was incredibly hard to choose but I ordered the gingerbread sundae (with homemade ice cream). It is very sweet but well worth every bite.

We stopped here after a long driving day, wanting something simple after too many huge meals. Our hostess seated us at a lovely window table and the server arrived immediately with a drinks menu and wine list. She was delightful--chatty, knew the menu, explained a few items we asked about. I ordered the pan fried halibut, somewhat dubious that it... More

Started with excellent crab cakes and then the best halibut I've ever had, pan fried to perfection. Followed up with a wild blueberry pie. The food is relatively plain but very well cooked. The atmosphere was smart but friendly and there was a good wine list. Service was friendly and attentive.

very nice restaurant, gorgeous view. Very friendly service and they even returned promptly my wife's jacket, which we had forgotten in the restaurant.

We ate here several times during our stay in Baddeck. Each time we had a good meal with very good service, and a view of the wharf. My one tip would be to save room for dessert. The brownie deluxe with a scoop pf their ice cream is one of the best desserts ever. You can count on having a... More

We ate here two nights while in Baddeck. Enjoyed both meals and the staff were friendly. The live entertainment was an added bonus.

I had expected better; perhaps some simple, fresh seafood and fresh, not-overcooked vegetables. Service and atmosphere were okay; view of the lake was nice. Food was unimaginative, overcooked, and oversauced. This place probably caters to the tour bus crowds that won't be back there anyway. I had expected much better, especially for those prices.

We stumbled onto this restaurant and were so glad we did! Here we had the first lobster of our two week trip -- it seemed to have been "out of season" everywhere we went. We enjoyed a lobster sandwich and cup of delicious seafood chowder.

Seemed to be the most popular place and one of a few still open near the end of the busy tourist season in Baddeck. I tried the seafood casserole and it was delicious and hubby had breaded haddock and he also enjoyed it. Nice staff and that night they had a wonderful fellow singing songs and playing guitar - a...
