My daughters wanted to have a lobster dinner and we were told this was the place to go. I am not a big lobster fan, but i tagged along and had a bowl of chowder...very good. My daughters shared a lobster dinner, which is one of the pluses for this restaurant. They each got half a lobster, a bowl of... More

We were recommended to the Lobster supper by John our Innkeeper at Broadwater Inn. He was absolutely 'on the money!'. The restaurant is easily located, close to the waterfront, and if one arrives early one can have a table in the annexe looking over the water. Payment is upfront on arrival and one makes a choice of the 'lobster supper... More

It appears that many people mistook the big highway sign and the one in the restaurant to mean that this was a all you can eat (lobster) place. NOT so - if you read it carefully the sides - (blah) and the rolls and watery seafood chowder with miniscule shrimp and carrots? are all you can eat. You get one... More

The only thing and I mean the only thing that is salvageable from this meal is the lobster. The sides and mussels were terrible. You have to pay BEFORE the meal and for two people it will run you $80 for the full meal option. Skip it entirely.

Perhaps I fell victim to the "lobster hype" or maybe it was simply due to mediocre lobster, but after our meal was over, I looked for something to feel good about, because it wasn't the meal. My wife's salmon was very good and if she'd have been interested, I would have switched meals with her. Nothing doing. I ended up... More

This is a simple restaurant that is more like eating in a community hall. The food was good but not the OMG we were expecting given the fish and lobster is caught locally. They also have a strange check-in system. You place your order as you arrive then sit down; if you like to ponder what you want this does... More

We got there late but went hungry. You pay first and then sit. One of us did not like any fish but they solved that quick and said she could have chicken fingers as not everyone likes seafood. We ordered our drinks. Our waitress had a problem with Her rye and coke so she brought all in separate glasses and... More

The food is good, no atmosphere, service is pretty good. As Lobster suppers go in the Atlantic provinces, it's typical, and probably better than some. The prices are reasonable, and portions good.

It has taken a few years for this funky little place to reach its potential but it really has now established its unique niche for local seafood. In addition to many tourists, I saw many local patrons 'chowing down' which is always a good sign when the food is local fare. Except for the main entre, the menu is "all... More

Dinner was very nice. The salmon was very good but the steak was just okay. With a name like 'Lobster Supper' we should have ordered the lobster.
