The BLS has it's own rough-hewn charm. For $35, one can order a main entre (in my case a 2 pound lobster) that includes as many bowls of local mussels as you can polish off. The service and food was well worth it.

On our visit to Baddeck we were looking for a good lobster dinner. The Lobster Supper House fit that bill well. The staff gave our family a demonstration on how to eat shelled lobster and we all had a lot of fun. What this place lacks in decor and frills it made up for with a fun family experience.

My wife and I were on a bus tour and called in for dinner. I had the all you can eat crab supper and my wife had lobster. We were both very satisfied . It was my birthday and after being informed by my wife the staff sang happy birthday to me.

I do not generally go for all you can eat restaurants, but this seemed like a good deal. They had just opened up for the season the day before. We were seated immediately, on the enclosed porch. We has 3 large bowls of mussels each, and chowder, the lobster was cooked perfectly, my husbands planked salmon was delicious. The salad... More

Looking for a nice seafood supper, we decided on Baddeck Lobster Supper and we had a great meal. The lobster and snow crab were terrific and the salads were very good, not to mention the scrumptious blueberry crisp for dessert. We would eat here again.

My wife and I ate here several years ago and had great memories. This time we brought our two kids to re-experience it. It wasn't to be. Wanted to try everything since visiting from Michigan. Not an expert on lobster but here are impressons: 1. Chowder was lobster and potatoes, not at all creamy. Quite different than we're used to.... More

We passed on the $35 all-you-can-eat menu and opted for a bowel of the seaford choweder and a bucket of Cape Breton mussels. The Chowder was mushy and bland - not worth it. The bucket of mussels was huge - at least three pounds which was more than two people could finish. Still, they were the smaller variety and delicious.... More

After driving the Cabot Trail my husband (who is originally from the east coat) was craving a good lobster meal. We walked around Baddeck and after reading the reviews online decided this would be the spot. What a mistake! There is nothing fresh...frozen and steamed ( male lobster to boot)...no flavor. Mussels with no seasoning or sauce. You call that... More

We were looking for a good lobster dinner. The chowder was above average and as much as you could eat. The mussels were good but small. The lobster was a good meal. Already cracked so you did not have to work too hard. No bibs but not too messy. We enjoyed ourselves and would return.
