Best Lobster Supper in Atlantic Canada

This establishment is by no means white table cloth service, however it is clean and offers all you can eat fresh mussels, and excellent chowder. In addition you get to chose between a lobster, steak, or real planked salmon. My recco is order the planked maple glazed salmon that is cooked outside... read more

I simply do not understand why anyone would comment negatively about this wonderful place that offers the most amazing food! This place is a must whether you are staying or passing through Baddeck! I give it a 5 stars only because I could not give it a 10!!!!

This place is a real gem. Don't expect fancy dining, as it is a down home, relaxing kind of place that makes you feel like a local (which, in our opinion, was perfect!). Walls are decorated in maritime fishing artifacts, and friendly waiters and waitresses are bustling around delivering endless bowls of mussels and seafood chowder. The food was excellent;... More

Good little place for a lobster dinner or otherwise. While it seems to be pretty busy most of the time they did a good job with service and staying attentive. While the food was delicious, and had a home-made feel to it, it lost its touch a little bit by seeming mass produced. If the place was a little more... More

I don't understand the negative reviews here. What more could you want…36 dollars (each) got me a full, fresh lobster, and my wife 2 sets of crabs legs. With each came all you can eat mussels and seafood chowder...both delicious, the mussels were among the best I have ever had...super fresh! Meal also included a delicious homemade potato salad, coleslaw,... More

Liked the decor & service. Dislike the very limited children's menu and disappointed about the dessert. Chocolate cake looked good but it is made with boxed cake mix or something. Definitely not made with real butter or cream. Strawberry short cake looked nice but the cake was not cake at all....the same biscuits offered in bread basket sliced in half.... More

I should have known. With all of the advertising, featuring "all you can eat", it should have been obvious that this was a tourist trap (in a tourist trap town) that has lost its way. While the food was "OK", it was served from a production line that seemed to add sugar to everything. This is not really a complaint,... More

Great service, fantastastic food. Nice atmosphere, very main inside, normal wooden chairs and tables BUT we loved every minute. Enjoy all you can eat seafood chowder and Atlantic mussels followed by an entree of lobster or crab or a few others along with dessert, coffee or tea. All for $36,00 per person. You should not miss.
