We ate on their large outside deck and had a great view looking down toward the harbor of Baddeck. Their "Stripaloin" steak was fabulous. Overall and excellent dining experience.

We sat outside on the lovely terrace, enjoying a beautiful summer night, and were pleasantly surprised by the menu choices. The food was well presented and very delicious. The staff were outstanding. I'd definitely return.

We went to the Lynnwood Inn on our 25th anniversary trip with my husband and my son. The service was poor, and they forgot to fill up my husband's water after already filling my own several times. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, with Shrimp for $5 extra. I received Penne Alfredo, with 3 small shrimp in it. I questioned the... More

The Lynwood Inn has a great outdoor seating area as well as indoor dining in an old Victorian home. A great place for a couple's Dinner, however we were there as a family for dinner and they do not have a kids menu but we were able to get a grill cheese sandwich from the lunch menu. The food was... Where should I start? The chowder was watery and tasteless. We ordered the campfire smoked trout it was almost inedible because it was well overdone. The service was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place to eat.

My man and I saw this restaurant when we went to the Parish Hall ceilidh. The food was absolutely fabulous! I ordered the lobster and it was served hot with garlic butter. My man had a seafood soup. It was the best.

We ate at the Lynwood for dinner on our Cape Breton vacation. The food was not good...poorly presented, expensive, not tasty and very slow service. But worse for me was the lack of cleanliness. I have never been to a restaurant where the waitress cleaned off the table and flipped the place mats over instead of putting new ones out.... More

Very cute place from the outside and cozy, comfy inside. Good service and the meal was excellent. We had local trout with baked potato and honey glazed salmon with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

the ambiance is fantastic. The staff are extremely accommodating and the food very tasty. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. Will definitely go back when in the area. Highly recommend.
