Amazing personal service and great meal and view!

We were on vacation in the Maritimes and happened to stop into the Lobster Gallery in the Baddeck area. We were delighted with the atmosphere, the gorgeous view, the warmth and amazing service, and of course the food. We ate here two nights while staying in the Baddeck area. Both nights we ordered the pan fried haddock which was very tasty. If you get in the restaurant fairly early, you can get a table by the window overlooking St Ann's Bay. The view from the men's washroom also qualifies as the best bathroom view I've ever seen! Staff... More

We arranged for a group dinner at the Lobster Galley. We worked with Jeannie (the owner), and it was a breeze because their food is so good as well as their service, staff and location. Oh wow! The location and scenery from the 2nd floor is just amazing. We were a group of about 40 seniors who enjoyed wine, beer,... More

Just minutes form the Gaelic College and next to St Ann's Motel with a to-die-for-view. We had an evening meal after a 9 1/2 hour tour of the Cape Breton Cabot Trail. Both had a lobster and bacon burger with sweet potato fries. Don't knock it until you try it. The bacon was cooked to perfection and the two marry... More

This restaurant is only a few minutes from Baddeck and since we were staying there 3 nights we wanted to try something a little further afield. it's close to the Gaelic College at St. Ann's. It's on the waterfront with a great view from the dining room and nautical decor. My husband had a whole lobster (only 1 1/2 lb.... More

The food here was awful. My husband ordered a chicken breast club sandwich which the menu informed us would have aged cheddar on it. The aged cheddar turned out to be a slice of processed cheese. The fries were burnt black and inedible and dripped old, disgusting grease. However, the lovely little motel next door was great :)

The food is less than average although the view is good. The lobster mac and cheese had little lobster and the fish was not tasty.

This restaurant is only a few minutes drive from Baddeck, quite near the Gaelic College at St. Ann's. It has located on the waterfront with a great view from the dining room. Lobster is priced according to size and can be ordered with a side of mussels and desert for a very reasonable surcharge. The food was freshly cooked, well... More

All four of us only had lobster so that's all I can attest to, but it was great. Very fun server who tied all of us in bibs. Great water views, too.

Ate there a little over 2 weeks ago and prior to Lobster Gallery were disappointed in Nova Scotia lobster, which we had at 3 other restaurants. Challenged the young hostess when we walked in about getting good lobster and she immediately took us back to the lobster holding tanks where they were kept by size ( and very clean). Then... More
