Eat up the view, the food can't touch it.

Friendly staff, usual kind of menu for Newfoundland, lots of battered fish and burgers, chowder cream based as usual. Cesar salad out of a bag, excellent local berry pies for dessert. Nothing really inspirational but the view is outstanding and you may see icebergs.

Fabulous experience. Excellent food. Simple but flavourful. Staff were friendly and were so willing to help with a special need. Wish I lived closer.

This is a nice little lighthouse with spectacular views of Bonne Bay and Gros Morne mountain. You will see the occasional fishing boat passing by. Bring a little snack and relax! That is my recommendation for this spot!

We searched Water Street in Woody Point for this restaurant. Finally we asked a local. Lighthouse Restaurant no longer exists. It's now converted into Seaside Suites / Deli. Hope this saves you also looking for this restaurant.

Hi. Thanks for the comments. We have informed Trip Advisor that we closed our Lighthouse Restaurant and not sure how to make it and the previous reviews go away on this site, to be honest. Our Seaside Deli does offer wonderful Seafood Chowder, Seafood Wraps, Build your own sandwiches on homemade bread, quinoa and broccoli salads, etc. And hard ice... More

This waterfront location is beautifully placed to allow you to enjoy the ruggedness of Newfoundland's coastal waters while savouring local delicacies. The fisherman's platter is delicious......and the scenery outstanding

Excellent meals -- well priced, for the area. Very friendly staff. An institution in Woody Point. Fishcakes are the best I've had in Nfld. Be sure to try the chips, dressing, and gravy -- Newfoundland poutine.

This is your basic fish and sandwich place in Woody Point. Just fine for a quick meal, a lunch, or a snack. Nothing fancy, but well done food for a reasonable price. There are not too many places to eat in Woody Point, so it's a good think this is a good alternative to the fancier Old Loft. No breakfast... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch while waiting for the water taxi. Server wasn't overly friendly, didn't offer dessert, just dropped the bill on the table and left.

We had a dinner here recently. It was quite tasty overall, but I have to rave about the home grown salad greens which were really delicious! Loved them!
