Quality Food, Excellent Service,Great Location

As there were 12 of us ( 8 from Australia) I was anticipating a terrible delay but the Staff were up to the task and made sure they had all our main course orders beforehand. Most of us opted for the Lamb Shoulder and it was delicious indeed as good as several U.K. Pubs, we had eaten at in the... read more

We came upon this wharf restaurant during a visit to Trinity, a village which is a find all to itself. The restaurant is part of an inn so if you are not staying there it is wish to book ahead. The menu is somewhat limited but the quality is not. We simply had a great pre-theatre experience, so much so... More

Face it. It's easy to get deep fried fast food fare just about anywhere you might wander. Rural Newfoundland, however, has not been a place that I associate with fine dining. We stumbled upon the Twine Loft while looking for a place for a drink before seeing one of the Rising Tide Theatre productions. The restaurant was completely full and... More

We learned about this restaurant on the back of the Rising Tide Theatre program (advertising works!). We stopped in without reservations, hoping to have a chance for the first place setting, at 5:30 (the second sitting is at 7:45). They happily accommodated us. We started with drinks on the patio overlooking the bay, basking in the glow of the setting... More

We booked dinner (fixed menu/ fixed price) at this restaurant because we had tickets to the theatre (which is just down the street) to see a play. Were we ever surprised!!! In this tiny town, we had a most delicious meal, served by the most friendly and gracious staff! We enjoyed it so much, that we booked breakfast and dinner... More

Trinity and surrounding area does not offer a lot of fine dining options. This restaurant provides two sittings with fixed menus and you have to choose your entree in the morning. The dinner we enjoyed here was very good and the proportions were generous. The room has an intimate feeling and is best for couples/adults. The menu repeats a bit... More

Excellent Inn to reside at because the rooms had a view. cleaned daily, and had a great deck for drinks. Also the prix fix dinner was excellent quality. Hardy breakfasts also.

The sommelier makes sure there is a comprehensive selection of wines with a very reasonable markup. Food was good, service friendly but average. Great seaside location with sunset. Recommended for good value in a wonderful setting.

I have dined here a few times and the meals never disappoint. Most recently we had a fresh garden salad and pork with a delicious roasted apple sauce. The atmosphere is spectacular, food great, and service spot on. I will come here every time I visit Trinity.

We had dinner at the Twine Loft the other night and it was really good. The food and service are second to none and the value is wonderful...its location on the waterfront is magic. Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it books out very quickly. Totally worth the effort.
