We stayed at the Artisan Inn and ate at the Twine Loft. We had an early reservation so we could see the play. The meal was delicious and the servers were great and very helpful.

This is a beautiful cosy restaurant with a clean wood-panelled interior, appealing art on display, and situated immediately next to the water. The dinner was a table d'hote with two choices for main course, and a choice of soup. It was delicious and presented in elegant fashion. A great culinary highlight of our trip to Newfoundland. Reservations recommended.

Twine Loft is so highly reviewed that we came with great expectations.. The restaurant itself is great and the servers were warm and lovely, as we have come to expect in Newfoundland. Our appetizers were very good. Other reviewers acclaimed the hazelnut encrusted salmon, but we were less than pleased. Perhaps it's just that our tastes are different from others',... More

We ate here twice for dinner and had 3 breakfasts while staying in the Artisan Inn. The meals were all first class, we had the continental breakfast which had fresh muffins and scones but a hot breakfast is also available. It is a small room so make sure you have reservations.

Nice cosy pine dining room with about 10 white linen covered tables lit with miniature hurricane lamps. The restaurant is situated on the water with access to a deck decorated with nets and lobster pots. Great ambiance. The menu is limited ( tonight salmon or coq au vin) but the food excellent and beautifully presented. Top notch service and a... More

Cannot describe with words how much we enjoyed our meal here, I'm not a fish eater so I was thrilled they had coq au vin it's one of my favourites but never had one made with a breast, I will now try to make mine this way too. Also love that dessert was served as I probably would have declined... More

Trinity is a small village; the fact that you can get great food here alone is remarkable. The Twine Loft does their best to provide fine dining and succeed wholeheartedly. They offer a choice of 2 dishes for dinner every night, which is a very reasonable expectation considering where we are. Another spot nearby, Fishers Loft, in Port Rexton, only... More

My 2 sisters & I visited the Twine Loft for dinner while staying @ Skerwink House in Port Rexton (another gem!) & enjoyed a delicious & well-served dinner @ a reasonable cost. Hazelnut-encrusted salmon was delish! Highly recommend.

We stayed at The Artisan Inn, during May, and were very satisfied with the room and staff. We first had a glass of wine on the deck facing the water, which was wonderful. It was cold but they provide warm blankets so we were cozy. The menu was prix fix, which neither of us like much because we don't normally... More
