Dinner our first night

I had the lamb shank and my daughter had the salmon. We each had a terrific appetizer. Hers were little rolled yummy things with a gravy to dip in. I had a delicious tomato herb bisque. Everything was delicious including the dessert. We had some wine left over and one of the staff strolled up... read more

This was one of the top ten meals I have eaten in this country. The chef was extremely accommodating as neither my husband nor I wanted the 2 mains offered. The chef did a chicken cordon blue for us. The soup was awesome, tomato herb with beautiful layers of taste. Exquisite. The soup was unbelievably topped by the codon bleu....succulent... More

Friendly staff, good food. This Inn had a very homey feel. Guests did not need to mix but the comfortable atmosphere made socializing a natural.

We had a delicious meal in this small but attractive restaurant overlooking the water. Unfortunately the weather was not great but it would be lovely to sit on the deck and watch the sun set. Dinner is prix fixe with two choices, both of which were great, cod or lamb shanks. The berry pudding with screech caramel sauce was unbelievably... More

The tomato herb soup was delicious. The mains were either cod or lamb. The cod was wonderful with carmelised onions on top, roasted potatoes and fresh veggies. The dessert was a berry pudding with warm rum sauce. We wanted to lick the plates!! Service was great and the setting gorgeous!!

Ate here on both nights of our stay in Trinity, on the recommendation of locals we had met while walking on Fogo Island. Small restaurant (about 8 tables) with a deck onto the bay. Good menu, strong on fish. Set menu (with a choice of fish or meat). Great fish - Cod one night, halibut the next. Very friendly staff... More

A little bit off the beaten track, but well worth finding. A limited menu, usually a decision between fish or pork/beef. But the small quaint , 12 table kitchen delivers a good meal. $42 per person and no complaints from this foursome. Even a selection of wine pairings. We had mixed berry bread pudding for desert. Mmmm-mmm good!

The staff are incredible and very accomidating. I loved the atmosphere and of course the food. The scalloped potatoes and the chicken are something that I crave on a normal basis. You have to stop by for the food and a drink out on their beautiful deck over the water. when the sun goes down it i the most beautiful... More
