The food was all homemade and very good. Was not impressed with 1 of the staff members, but the rest were fine.

The softest and freshest breads, tea biscuits with raspberries or blueberries). I thought they were scones but they are called tea biscuits and they remain soft for days. Maybe this is why they are not scones. But you must try them. I also got Jams and jelly.

We had good service. Our group had the moose burger, moose wrap and moose stew. They were fantastic.

Food was excellent from seafood - cod, shrimp, scallop - and the moose burger. Friendly service. The restaurant is only a 3 minute drive from the harbour. The store (connected to the restaurant) has some good baked goods.

Very good comfort food. Nothing pretentious here. Moose meat sandwich was tasty and lean. Turkey dinner was gobbled (pun intended) by my daughter. Seafood chowder was excellent and toutens were fried in real pork scrunchins! Server was really busy, which meant plates sat a little longer than they should. One note - credit card machine didn't work (still on dial... More

Earl's is a restaurant with a store. The baked goods were wonderful and they even had canned moose stew and moose meat. They had many other items available for tourists but one needs to visit to pick the homemade treats.

VERY friendly and accommodating. You must try their 1/2 moon cake either chocolate or vanilla. We are commenting on the bakery in house for pick up only.

Food was tasty. Seafood chowder i sent back because it was lukewarm. Had a moose burger, it was ok. Also had moose pizza- it was good. My husband had cod au gratin- said it was ok. Forget what my husband ordered on our second visit. Its a very busy spot and seemed understaffed. While trying to pay our bill- you... More

We stopped at Earl's for a quick lunch on the way further up the peninsula. They were friendly and set up a table for us outside, but the wind was so strong we went back in. I see we should have tried the moose, but since it was supposed to be a quick lunch, we ordered a regular hamburger and... More

We just finished eating at Earle's and really enjoyed it. We were looking for a nice meal of Newfoundland food and Earle's was the ticket. My partner had the moose burger, which he loved. It was moist and well seasoned. I had the hot moose sandwich which was tasty and huge. We washed this down with cold Quidi Vidi beer.... More
