Cute little spot in a beautiful town

Went here for breakfast after a night of having a few too many drinks. Got a breakfast with all the fixings, including fish cakes and toutons. It was my first time having toutons (I'm born and raised in BC), and they were delicious. The rest of the meal I would describe as good but not great (I... read more

Amazing seafood; fresh good and good value. I am always cautious of good value for the money, and this Earl's was a pleasant surprise. I think it was about $20 per person for food, but that was for lobster and fresh fish, which my husband and I had. Earl's is family owned and Earl and his wife are there and... More

Awesome spot, cosy ambiance, good food! We had the seafood platter and the moose stew. Both plates were huge!

We ate at Earl's twice while staying in Rocky Harbour and liked it a lot. The food was good (I really recommend the Moose Burger), they have a good selection of Newfoundland beer, and the service was very friendly. Come around sunset, grab a table by the window and watch the sun sinking into the sea...

When we are going to eat in Rocky Harbour we usually choose Earl's. There is a good selection of choices. I usually go with the moose burger and am not disappointed. We like to eat outside and they are pet friendly as they greet her and bring her a bowl of water. Service is friendly and efficient. They carry Quidi... More

We had a great meal here, the only bad thing I can say is that we were looking forward to dessert but the meal was so big we didn't have room! Meals are home cooked, not gourmet, but quite tasty. Service is pretty relaxed, but our server was nice.

Was expecting more. Mooseburger was dry and overcooked. Fish was just okay. Found it was overpriced. Service was not overly attentive or friendly unlike other restaurants we visited in Newfoundland.

If you are in Rocky Harbour - go to this restaurant for a meal. There wasn't any wait for us on the 2 times that we dined. Yes, we came back for a 2nd meal - too good. Local beer to accompany the meal - nice touch.

It was Sunday night and other places were full. The waitress was inattentive and the food was edible but not exceptional. The fish was fresh but we did not fell welcomed like everywhere else.
