This was a nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious and moderately priced. I would recommend this place to eat.

It rained most of time ever since I set foot in Newfoundland, and all I wanted was a nice warm dinner. So I was really stoked when i saw the moose burger as part of their menu as well as poutine. Curiosity settled in. I had to try their moose burger with a poutine (I'm from Quebec, so I know... More

Great food in a spectacular setting. The servers went out of their way to make sure my wife's allergies were considered. Very good hot coffee with homemade pie. Rocky Harbour has to be the most beautiful town on the Northern Peninsula of NL

Lobster dinner for $19.95!!! with fresh veggies and rice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. While we were there , one of the staff checked on the ferry schedule for us. Next morning we went back for a great breakfast at a very reasonable price.

The friendly staff were so helpful and accommodating of special requests and dietary considerations. I am celiac and often have a difficult time ensuring restaurant food is safe to eat, but the waitress offered gluten-free bread (toasted in a separate toaster and separately packaged butter for no cross contamination) and made every effort to ensure the meal was both risk... We ate twice at this restaurant during our trip to Gros Morne. After spending a full day climbing Gros Morne Mountain, we stopped here on our way back to the motel and picked up a delicious take out meal. I really enjoyed the chowder and deep fried scallops. My wife raved about the milkshake she ordered with her fish and... More

The food and service were less than I expected and the price was disgusting for the size of the meal. I paid $10 for an egg sandwich with no hashbrowns and a cup of coffee. It took forever to get a refill and the place was not very busy either.

We ordered take out for 2 nights. The first night I had the Seafood Soup ($7). The chunks of cod were the biggest I've seen yet on our Newfoundland trip. The serving was large and flavourful. My husband had the Cod au Gratin ($8). It was listed as an appetizer but was tasty and certainly big enough for a main... More

Just average restaurant, both hubby and I opted for the fish chowder, a bit too much flour to thicken it. Service was good.

My husband and I had big appetites after a full morning of hiking in beautiful autumn weather and decided to treat ourselves to the Fisherman's Platter. We were amazed that the "scallops" were simply 3 or 4 tiny scallop bits covered with so much deep fried batter that you couldn't even taste them! The deep fried shrimp hardly fared any... More
