Good Chinese food in Deer Lake

Very tasty chicken lo mein and fried rice. Won ton soup good too with the tasty broth. Cantonese food. Good for Deer Lake. So Gai (fried chicken tenders) with gravy did not enjoy because soggy with gravy. Recommend if you have an urge for Chinese food.

We tried moo shu chicken and egg foo yung. The moo shu had less than an ounce of chicken but a bowl full of peas and green beans in an almost decent sauce. The dish did not come with rice. That was a first. Egg foo young mediocre. Service seemed short handed and disjointed

If you've been traveling Newfoundland for a while and starting to wonder if the vegetable is an endangered species, then this is an oasis in a deep fried desert! Good standard Canadian Chinese food. All the expected meat and veg dishes done well. Friendly service.

Your order comes to your table within 5-10 minutes from ordering! Great taste, everytime! We usually always order the specials that are on a sign on each table. Lots of food for the price. Decor is on the "old" side of things.

Have eaten at Canton on several occasions and have never had to wait very long for food. Our meals have always been piping hot, tasty, and service is always friendly. You get a lot of food for the price, and I normally leave with some leftovers. No complaints here.

We ordered Hot and Sour soup for an Appetizer. It was good and enough for two, maybe even three. After that, it went down hill. The Mongolian Vegetables dish was overly sweet. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were mostly batter. The Kung Pao Chicken contained no Pow and very little chicken. The Egg Foo Yong was bland. The Chicken... More

Rated high and recommend to us to try. Tried…once. Food bland and veggies are canned. Soft mushy food. Weird take on chowmein. Staff very friendly beer cold.

We went to this place after a week of fried fish and potatoes. The meals were large, the food good and not at all greasy. Hot and sour soup was on the hot side. Wonton soup fresh and not overly salty. They have a full menu, beyond Chinese. Service was quick and the setting was roomy, not cramped. There aren't... More
