Seafood is the best in the town. Fried cod, scallops and salmon were incredible. Flavourful batter, not too greasy and very fresh. Potatoes are a bit dry, and the vegetables are frozen, which was expected. Apple pie was mediocre, but we ate it cold, which was a mistake.

Beauty little spot on the way up the cape. We stopped there for a late lunch with the kids and it was soooo good! Really wanted to try the ice cream but it was a yuckie-drizzly day. We all enjoyed our meals and the food was soooo good and fresh!!! Good home cooking!

Over the years my Husband and I have visited this restaurant. We have gone alone and taken our family. they have the BEST fish and chips in the area. It is a small and quaint place but with big heart. As for ice cream you must try one of their flurries or maybe the partridge berry sundaes. You will not... More

Every time we're back in Bonavista this place seems to get better and better. Whether you're stopping in for their HUGE selection of ice creams (e.g., soft serve, sundaes, flurries, "hard" ice cream, smoothies, etc.) of you're there for the grub you won't be disappointed. In addition to their "dairy" selections the food is also top notch and, despite not... More

On a gorgeous day, we stopped after our visit to Bonavista Lighthouse to have a meal. With icebergs in the distance and lovely blue water to gaze upon, we had one of the best meals l had in a while. My mother had cod tongues which she said were incredibly fresh and well-prepared. I indulged myself with fish and chips,... More

Personally I am allergic to seafood, but many of our choir members said it was wonderful. I can give a happy plug for the ice cream!

Pea soup was delicious. Thick and flavourful with a large doughboy in the middle. Pan fried cod was moist and fresh and homemade fries can't be beat. Reasonably priced and very filling. Eat early or you won't want dinner!
