We were wine tasting today and asked about a place for lunch and the lady recommended the Tides Restaurant at the Parkland Village Inn in Alma, N.B. She even suggested the blueberry and scallop salad. We followed her direction all the way and certainly weren't disappointed. A very nice restaurant, with great views if you sit near the windows, friendly... More

I had fish in chips that were cooked to perfection. They served one filet that was perfect for a hungry customer. The wait staff was friendly and polite!

We loved this place! We sat outside, the staff hurried to take our order. She was very informed and attentive. We ordered two lobster meals - one large lobster and one small. They were out of small lobsters, but a person from the restaurant assured me it will be in within minutes. He hopped into a car and went to... More

I had driven by the Tides restaurant many times and I have always wanted to stop there. I had family down all the way from Louisiana, so we decided to stop and eat there after our camping trip in Fundy. Our meal was very disappointing. My sister and I split the fried scallops. The meal came with 6 tiny scallops... More

Beautiful view Yes! Service was good, but the food...not great! We were expecting better... We ordered the fisherman's platter, the fish was cold, and not much on the platter. We enjoyed fisherman's platters in other locations for 1/2 the price with more food on them. Not worth the money

We decided to eat here because of the AAA travel guide's recommendation. We both ordered the scallops which were small and overcooked. Side dishes included a very small helping of cole slaw, very greasy carrot strips and a large side of rice. The view was excellent and we were entertained by the hummingbirds. We will not return--food did not equal... More

Went there with three couples, which made up 25% of the clientele. General consensus was excellent food, overworked wait staff ( read that as under staffed), and incredibly noisy atmosphere. But, the Cajun seafood pasta (scrumptious), fried clam strips (delicious), and seafood chowder were all excellently prepared. The fish and chips and fish sandwich were disappointing. The Cajun seafood pasta... More

This place looks like the run-of-the-mill, waterfront seafood place. And, it is, in the best sense. We split a very generour seafood platter and a salad garnished with fresh blueberries. Everything was cooked just right--especially the scallops. Scallops rare available everywhere and I ate a lot of them. Many were a tad overdone. These were done to perfection.
