Visited this cafe with some friends on a recent kayaking and camping trip. The food was pretty good and they had some cool things in the cafe. By far my favorite part of the experience and the best dish in the place was out waitress Tammy. She was absolutely stunning and took my breath away. Is she single? I would... More

The atmosphere was lovely, they had great options for beer and the server was laid-back but you could tell she really knew what she was doing! The pasta was amazing. Usually I'm disappointed with pasta at restaurants because I know I can make a better pasta dish (and cheaper) on my own. We got pasta for the whole family -... More

A great place to stop and eat, delicious homemade soups and sandwiches. Great atmosphere and you can play board games should you choose to do so, and loitering is encouraged. I'm definitely coming back.

This Alma spot is a gem. The accent is on homemade food with locally produced, fresh ingredients. It's part cafe, part blown glass studio. We've tried a wide variety of offerings on their menu, which changes with the seasons, and have never had a bad experience. They have gluten-free selections too. We never feel rushed out the door, and the... More

Stopped by for lunch yesterday as they had Chili on for this weekend. Without a doubt the finest bowl of meaty chili I have had in a very long time delivered with quick and friendly service. Only open on weekends for the winter as is pretty quiet in town during the week. Worth a stop

We read some reviews before trying this place and here's what we have to say - The pasta was tastey, the bread was a bit dry and the salad was not to our liking. It took a while for our food to come due to a bad ingredient in our dish and the service was quirky......If you are looking for... More

We were recommended to go here for the excellent coffee. And I like good coffee. The menu looked great and the patio was a nice spot to sit out. However, the espresso machine wasn't working. So our only option was drip coffee, self serve. Not what I was expecting...

This was a nice little spot to stop and eat. The food was great and we had a nice surprise of live music. The atmosphere/service was a little weird...but nothing that would deter me from visiting again.

The town of Alma has a limited slection of restuarants, the Octopus garden is a great little spot for a very casual meal, not much atmosphere and not what you would call fine dining but the meal was very good. My husband had the carbonara, it was the first time he had it and it was good. I am gluten... More
