My wife and I had dinner here with some friends while staying at Fundy NP. Pasta was the only choice on the dinner menu which might not suit everyone but we were quite happy to have it. All four of us thought the pasta was excellent and with the salsa and bread was good value.

Great live music. They have incredible acoustics, the sound was amazing for a small room cafe! We had the pleasure of seeing Tillers Folly a great blue grass band, they are even licensed so we were able to have a beer while listening to the sounds of the fiddle fill the room!

We stopped here for dinner and had the homemade pasta and their delicious homemade desserts. They cook with butter, sugar; not margarine and corn syrup and processed food. A rare place that I can have deserts not artificially flavored and processed. The food was delicious.

We were looking for a break from fast food for the family and this place was awesome. We sat in the loft upstairs which had a bunch of old books and toys to keep us and the kids busy while we waited. The food came quickly and was all delicious. We had two soup and sandwich combos (corn chowder, tomato... More

This is a great little treasure on the main stretch in Alma, NB. Love the specialty coffees and teas. Also the baked goods are amazing! They have local entertainment there frequently in the evenings. A great place to go on a rainy day in Fundy or an evening. There is a loft with board games for the family as well.

While staying in the village of Alma for 3 days, the owners of our B&B recommended An Octopus Garden. AMAZING PASTA!!!! They were extremely busy that night since the biggest local restaurant was closed for a wedding. They offered us a table for our family of four in the lounge area upstairs and although we were skeptical at first, we... More

We stopped for dinner at An Octopus' Garden after a day at the Hopewell Rocks. We very much enjoyed our meals of freshly prepared pasta and the lobster sandwich. The atmosphere was very casual, the staff were friendly and the service was fast. We can definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Alma on your way to or from... More

Limited menu, but what I had was well prepared, fresh and used much less mayo/cheese/deep frying than most of the places in these small towns. Lots of veggies! The service was kind of lackadaisical, not very attentive. But a good value and a nice break from fish and chips.

We stopped her for lunch because of a recommendation from the place we were staying and couldn't be more happy decide to go. I had the grilled veggie panini and it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. My boyfriend had the chili and repeated several times how great it was. I had a chai tea latte that... More
