My husband was from Mexico and he and I agreed that while their food isn't terrible, it has no bearing on Mexican food. It is some Mennonite version of Mexican food. They do have great soups though.

Love to eat at this little restaurant whenever I'm in the Winkler area. Food is as good as any other 'Mexican' restaurant offerings I have had in the province. Staff are always attentive, friendly and service is quick. The portions look small on the plates, but have found that the looks are deceiving, as frequently I'm not able to finish... More

meh, i grew up in mexico and in my opinion the words mexican food should be removed from their label, their burgers are great, the restaurant itself is an eye sore

Come for the soup!!!! Especially on these cold winter days of late! Great comfort food that will remind you of what "Mom used to make". There is a variety of food choices on the menu with the emphasis on Mennonite cuisine. The servers are pleasant and the prices very reasonable. I live 30 minutes away, and often make the drive... Great food in my opinion. The Mennonites have lived in Mexico for almost 100 years and have adopted a lot of their culinary delights. Maybe not always authentic Mexican but in my opinion every bit as good or better. Verenike (mennonite perogy) is as good here as any restaurant I have been at. Often a restaurant of choice when in... The food was very delicious and lots of different choices on the menu. The service was wonderful and the prices were quite reasonable. It is easy to find (just off the highway by 2 blocks). I would definitely eat here again.

This place is the real deal. It is not hokey and glitzed up, like a Disney World pavillion of Mexico. Del Rios gives authentic Mexican cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. My favourite things to eat here are the salsa and home-made chips, as well as the Chimi platter, which has tortillas baked around the best beefsteak ranchero I've ever had.... More
