Rude service, would never go back. Mean old woman, treated customers and staff horribly. absolutely disgusted. Restaurant was filthy. Floor is extremely slippery I nearly slipped when I walked in And it wasn't because ye floor had just been mopped. Ice cream made my stomach sick afterwards. it was overall a terrible experience.

Country boy makes the absolute best hot dogs and French fries anywhere. Today I had fresh pickerel and chips and it was outstanding.

New management has made this a fun place to be. Decorated with mexican hats and flags from many south american countries,. Good home cooked meals, with great daily specials. Nice to have a different place to eat in Gimli. Great change. Owner is a really friendly guy from Columbia.

This restaurant has new owners. They are now Diego's Kitchen and feature Authentic Latin American Cuisine. We went to Gimli to eat Walleye not Mexican food. We ordered the Walleye for $10.95. We've been to the Country Boy Restaurant a few times before and we were always happy. The portions were larger. They used to serve 2 filets, more salad,... More

Our first visit to Country Boy was before Lisa and Angelo became the new managers of this restaurant. After dealing with the old owner, we vowed never to return but when we saw the new sign indicating New Management, we gave Country Boy another try. And we are so glad that we did! The food was always fresh, tasty and... More
