A suuny spring day in Shawnigan Lake Village close to Lake. This restaurant is a converted church- hence the name. Lunch time in the middle of the week it was uncrowded and a delightful setting for 5 of us to get together to enjoy conversation and food.We did enjoy it. The menu is interesting and a visit for dinner with... More

Great food .... steak and seafood was very tasty as were the corn/shrimp fritters and salad. Service was okay. Wait staffs seemed a bit untrained - one tried to take away a plate that was not finished and another did not keep track of whom ordered what.

We are biased -- we love this little place and go it as often as we can on our way up or down the Island. We love the atmosphere, the size and the friendly service. The food is always good and we look forward to meals here. I had the mussels this time and almost ordered a second portion they... More

Stopped for lunch at about 1 p.m. Restaurant was extremely quiet but the meals were excellent and the service very good. A very good variety of gluten free choices which was good for my friend. My chicken wrap was excellent and the slaw salad was one of the best. My friend had the pork with cranberries which was also very... More

We went to the restaurant on Sat night. We were wanting a quiet night out and some good food. We had mussles, oysters, calimari, steak, wine and fresh strawberries for dessert. It was great food and there was even a really nice folk band to listen to. We had a long meal (close to 3 hours) Loved the tableside desserts/service... More

A fantastic dinner in a unique and attractive building. Steeples is a renovated church and very welcoming, add to that great service and a delicious dinner, makes for a great evening.

Steeples serves a delish lunch for $9.99. You get several choices and you get 3 courses. Ambience in the old building, which was once a church is awesome. My sister got married here in the 1960s. Service is good, too. What more do you want??

If you want something different than the city, this is a cute little restaurant that is worth the drive. The building is really cute, but what would get us to come back is the food. There was nothing super bold about the menu options but the flavours on the simple food were AMAZING. The steak was cooked perfectly and and... More

We we loved the pleasant (no loud music) atmosphere and the big tables. Each of us enjoyed our lunch. The one thing that would have improved our experience would have been the server to have been more gracious. We began with the younger fellow who was very obliging but an older (silver haired) server took over our table and he... More
