Great food!

We loved having our pancakes and coffee on the dock overlooking the cove. Very peaceful and relaxing during our stay in Telegraph cove.

We have eaten here before and we pleased on this visit to find the food and the service were still as good as we remembered. The mahi mahi burger is tasty and a good size. The fries are fresh and hot and make a great side to your meal. The view over Telegraph Cove makes it a wonderful location to... More

Fabulous food! Wonderful breakfasts. It's hard to choose between the great breakfast wraps or the international themed pancakes. Oh, the fresh cut fries are so amazing too. All served alongside the beautiful Telegraph Cove marina. Pure bliss.

The setting of the Seahorse Cafe is charming - overlooking the marina, with lots of outdoor seating (there was some seating in a gazebo/tent, but I don't think it was heated). They are open early (7am), so we had breakfast there before leaving on a kayak tour with North Island Kayak. The pancakes were delicious. Closer to crepes than fluffy... More

Tiny place but well suited to the area. Good food, a little pricey and no free coffee refills which when cold would be handy!

We tried the breakfast this time at the Seahorse Cafe - it was their weekend special - 2 eggs, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, hash browns for $9.99. And Cafe Latte for $4.49. The Seahorse Cafe is a small little rustic kiosk on the boardwalk that offers outdoor seating only. The breakfast took a long time as it each items is... More

After being in contact with the friendly reviewer, we have got some more information about this particular day (June 21st) when this breakfast was served. I have responded that a cold breakfast is unacceptable at any time. Part of the reason seems to be that we had a new cook in training. We do serve fresh cubed hash browns and... More

The sun actually came out for a few hours when I was in Telegraph Cove and I took the opportunity for lunch at the Seahorse. The grilled chicken burger was cooked beautifully (done, but not dried out), served on a lovely soft bun, with absolutely brilliant hand-cut fries. I had to wait a few minutes for everything to be cooked... More

Enjoyed excellent breakfasts and lunches at Seahorse. As it's mostly an outdoor place, the weather should cooperate. Coffees (cappuccinos and lattes) are excellent and the food does not disappoint. Friendly service as well, of course.

We ate here twice during our stay in telegraph Cove, a lunch snack and breakfast. Both were really good and the outdoor bench setting was really nice on the sunny days we had.
