As much as the snow and the scenery and the wonderful welcoming locals another of Sun Peaks treasures in Bolacco Cafe. Conrad and his lovely family bake fresh daily the most mouth watering array of pastries cakes and muffins that have tourists dreaming of them all year round. The warm rustic interior and the piping hot coffees make Bolaaco the... More

By far the best Cafe in Sun Peaks. A family run business based on love, passion & dedication. The best hot chocolate I've ever had in my life & I'm almost 50! Ditto the homemade apple strudel. All the pastries were scrumptious & the baked baguette to go fabulous. Is it packed? Yes!!! Is it crowded? Yes! Is it worth... More

Extraordinary home baked food; Samosas, Danish, cinnamon rolls all exquisite but horrendously busy and just a bit crazy to get served, got to be lucky to sit indoors but we kept going back! Friendly people recognised us even though only there for a week, definitely go!

If you are hungry then this clearly is the place to eat. A family runs the cafe and they're without a doubt the best cafe owners I have ever seen. Everything about the place is perfect right down to the food, pastry and coffee's. If Gordon Ramsey himself ate there he'd give it a Michelin star. I look forward to... More

We are coffee snobs to put it lightly. When we asked at guest servies where to find the best coffee and they told us to go here, we were doubtful but thought we'd give it a try. At first we thought we'd just order one since we hate always having to dump our latte after spending $5. What a surprise,... More

Awesome home made food... Very limited seating... Always a queue for ordering... So just be patient, you're on holidays ... Right?

Cheap doesn't mean poor quality. For a fair price, you get great coffee, great food, and the owners are great friendly people. There's a reason why it's hard to get a seat in there, so eat there anyway, and just take it to go.

Very personable owners also! Always a pleasure going there. Good amount of food received. Quaint little cafe.

Limited menu and not the greatest coffee. Not much on the menu if you don't want sweet pastries for instance. Very small with not many seats.

Always a popular hangout on a Sunday morning in Sun Peaks. The owners are very friendly, and the coffee is the best on the hill. The Breakfast buns and bagels are delicious and always freshly made, or there are always ready-to-go snacks like breakfast wraps, home-made blueberry scones or my favourite - the apple strudel. The generous servings of lemon... More
