Nice Patio

My wife and I ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers on the Cahilty patio. Its a great place to catch some sun and enjoy some drinks.

We only stayed for one night and were already disappointed to find the lifts weren't open yet, so we thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice dinner. Unfortunately both our meals were incredibly disappointing. The meat pizza was like a full carvery covering an undercooked oven pizza and the salmon was chewy accompanied by undercooked veg with black potatoes. I... More

Had the buffet breakfast which was quite good other than it was a little cold, especially the scrambled eggs. If you are going to have wait staff serve coffee then one is not enough. Better to put the coffee in a central location for people to self serve Good value but they need to ensure it keeps warm

Loved the fish and chips with Apple slaw. Good beer and Monday night cocktail went down well. Good friendly service from the ladies there.

We came here FEBRUARY on our wedding night. It was a special day and the staff were excited to make our day special. So after our delicious main courses, the chef surprised us with a dessert. It was the lightest lemon cheesecake, served in delicate individual serving bowls. Presented artfully, and tasting out of this world, my new husband declared... More

Stick to the pizza. Everything our family had was truly horrible. Shame - it COULD be good, just need to change chef.

Love sun peaks and many of its nice restaurants. See my review on the overall Sun Peaks experience. it is the most affordable Skiing resort for families that I was able to find in our region (we are from the Prince George area) so far.

This year we discovered the pizza at the Cahilty Creek restaurant, and loved it. As the restaurant is attached to the Cahilty Lodge where we were staying, it was very handy

The slopeside restaurant is a great place to stop for lunch, with excellent food and service only a tiny bit more expensive than the mass-produced mountain cafes.

So I'll keep on submitting a new one until it stays. Despite all the positive reviews, my party had a bad experience and it's obvious that management would rather avoid a negative reputation than try to even come up with a way to make me feel better about my experience. How pathetic that they can't man up and recognize that... More
