We were recommended to go here for a hot breakfast, and Louise sat us in wonderful corner by the window. Sunrise and home cooking wafting from the kitchen created an anticipation of a good meal. We ordered sausage and eggs, they were wonderful and very local. Visit this place and you will not be disappointed.

Louise's is not open for late dinners. Breakfast and lunch are very popular with the locals, which should tell travelers something about how great their food is. All visitors should try to visit Louise's at least once while they are here.

Louise's is a great little restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food all tastes like Grandma made it.

I do love Louise's food. She is sometimes very busy and you cannot even get a table. So it is hard to go for lunch during my break if it is her busy time because she only has so much room and you are out of luck and I am sad.

Born and raised here.... This restaurant has been a family favourite for years. Be sure to try the homemade perogies, sausage, cabbage rolls and borscht.

We have gone to Louise's for a number of years now. As we no longer live in the area, we try to still go when visiting the area which we did this past summer. Louise & her son Jamie run a lovely little cafe. Always busy and if you go right at noon you most likely will have to wait... More

We come for the Ukranian-style pirogis every time we are in Smithers. This is a favorite of the locals with consistently good food. If you were a Smithers local, you'd be here frequently, too.

This conveniently located restaurant is owned and operated by a mother and son team. The coffee shop's sandwichesand desserts are always fresh and are consistently good. There are a few more hearty dishes - Louise's Special, for example, begins with a bowl of borsch, followed by a plate of perogies, sausage, and a cabbage roll. If you're meeting someone for... More

This little restaurant is very coffee shop style--plain but comfortable. The service is consistently good. The food is not fancy but its tasty. A good place to stop for a bowl of soup or a cup of coffee and a treat.

I think I've said it all in the above descriptive. Good breakfast, and speedy!
