Nice atmosphere, food was good for pub food. One of the best places to eat in Smithers. Customer service was okay.......it was not busy when I was there and the staff did not appear to be rushing...

The place is set up very nice with a great decor and atmosphere. The wait staff was very good, food was fast and well done. Parking was also pretty good considering its location on Main street Smithers

We were there on wing night. We tried many kinds of wings. They were OK not top notch. But it is a very nice place with really good service and I would definetly go back again

Before it was sold, food was outstanding. Now, it has definitely slipped into mediocre, regular fare. Staff are Ok....but something is missing. New ownership has changed menu...e.g. Fish and Chips used to be big , fresh fish, lightly battered, great fries. Now...fish is crappy, frozen cheap fish. Nothing fresh about it. Fries are ordinary, usual frozen stuff you get in... More

Lovely dining experience with very good food, prompt service and located right in town. The ambiance alone was warm and inviting, but I would return to dine here again as the food was not only delicious, fresh ,and filling, but artistic as well.

This was within walking distance of our hotel, so that was great. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and we ate on the patio. Had two delicious burgers and beer. Our waiter was great, I believe he was half owner, and he gave excellent service and was very friendly.

We had dinner at the pub. There were 10 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. They had a very good wine selection and we all enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of room between diners.

I have eaten at the Alpenhorn several times over the last few months. The food itself is good but I find the portions too small and very pricey. Also the service is slow and not very attentive. TV screens are small and the quality is poor, especially for hockey.

Ate here for dinner out on the patio during a warm September evening. Really liked the variety of options on the menu. My man enjoyed the extra salmon menu they had on. The service was really great, it got busy after we were seated, but our waitress did a great job. Usually when we eat out I can never finish... More
